56Expect to wait for at least two hours if you need to get an ID. I came to Australia assuming that basic services, such as obtaining an ID, would be relatively quick and straightforward compared to my home country. Unfortunately, I was terribly mistaken.
Waiting 2 hours and not being served.then say 2.5 hrs are the maximum.
Why not open more desks, hire more staff?
I don't think it's reasonable and normal to wait such a long time.
I passed my test! The assessor made me feel confident and assessed my driving capabilities very well. The myth about not passing in the City West Driving Center is not true. I practiced over and over until I met the mandatory standards. Ultimately practice makes anything perfect and I am so glad I did my test at City West to pass on a beautiful sunny day in Perth!
Terrible communication, given incorrect information almost every time I've been here. Usually takes multiple visits to resolve simple issues. Computers are extremely slow and frequently freeze, which makes assessments difficult. 0/10 would not recommend.
Passed my driving test today. First attempt but was well prepared. The assessor really made me feel more confident and relaxed. Great with instructions and timely and clear. Was thrilled that all of it only took an hour with paperwork and payment done. Extremely happy. Helpful staff:)
Worst customer you can ever get. Some lady would not answer my general enquires and just hung up on me when I asked to speak with a supervisor.

I went in for a license renewal and was feeling anxious, however, I was lucky enough to be served by Joshua who made it a seamless process! He was efficient and had a calming presence, refreshing to come across in such a chaotic environment.
Only could a government business be run this poorly. 1 hr wait and theyve processed 2 people. 9 to go. Good use of tax payer money!
1hr and 40min to be served. My second time here and always the same experience. They need more staff! Always counter empties and only 5 of 16 counter serving! It's ridiculous

Expect 1h15 mn waiting, (there is sit though and a clear waiting system) Great people work there, but place is clearly too small in size for the amount od people waiting, and clearly understaffed.
Useless system. Just trying to get my license transferred over is a mission. Western Australia needs to get there processes up to date. Literally can do it in 5mins in any other country I've lived. Very backwards.
I just passed my PDA for a manual license upgrade with Ash today. I was quite nervous, however Ash helped me remain calm throughout the entirety of the assessment. He also gave clear instructions during the test and provided helpful feedback after the test. I am very grateful for his patience and friendly nature during this experience.

Quick and efficient. The workers seems overwhelmed and not so friendly, but the service still good.
Came here a few weeks ago to had in a medical assessment form on a Thursday arvo. Was a little busy but only waited 15mins to be served! The lady who served me was lovely and her customer service skills was great. Had a great time here at this licensing centre.
Had a good experience this morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did not have to wait too long.
Nothing better than wasting a whole day sitting down at the licencing centre waiting to be served. Why they don't have more staff is beyond me.
This centre wasted my time 3 times when I was trying to change my licence from interstate. Inadequate details and continued issues with their systems. Staff are not equipped in their ability to do there jobs and were rude.
I am completely disgusted by the lady named Natasha. She was very rude and not polite. When I came to sort out my forms she was very blunt, dismissive and ended up even spelling my name wrong on an official document. She made me feel so uncomfortable and not respected.
