Coffee was perfect. Service was great.
Food was good had scrambled eggs on ciabatta and bacon.

The decor is so unique and provided for a comfortable dining experience! The staff are extremely professional, punctual, and really know how to make you feel well looked after! Absolutely not a let down in the price point of the food, options or quality area either!

Chalkys is a minute walk from Fremantle’s Roundhouse and Bather’s Bay, and makes for a really lovely breakfast/ brunch or lunch time experience!

Went with a mate and this was our thoughts. Ok this is getting 4 stars but a few things to work on. We ordered a couple of coffees, eggs Benedict and Banana Bread. Coffees were perfect! Eggs Benedict came out wrong but staff were quick to fix it and were very apologetic. The eggs were amazing! Only problem was the view. Great street in fremantle to watch the world go by but there was a milk crate obstructing the view. All in all good experience. Would highly recommend!

Hasn't changed one bit, still awesome customer service, and friendly and helpful staff, and yummy and healthy, and filling food.

Incredibly generous portions and amazingly delicious. Worth a breakfast stop. The paprika aioli on my bacon burger was divine!

It was a Monday. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and my stomach was rumbling. I had recently started a new diet and I was desperate for good clean food. I had known about Chalkys for a while and finally decided to pay them a visit. I arrived to a warm welcome with smiles all around. I was at home. I ordered what I now call "The World Famous Poke Bowl With Chicken". When the bowl of deliciousness arrived, my mouth started watering so bad, I almost needed a replacement shirt. This bowl of pure goodness made my day. Do yourself a favour and go get one! If you want to spice it up a bit, they have many hot sauce options to choose from.

Food was delish and portions were generous. The fritters were more like savoury pancakes but were still tasty. Food did take a bit to come out but it was 10: 30am on Sunday morning so it was to be expected.

Fantastic service! Very friendly staff. Was looked after very fast despite how busy it was. Food was amazing and fresh. I had the Cuban and would definitely get it again. Coffee was perfect. It's a shame the staff can't control the weather as sitting outside in the sun would have been amazing in the nice quiet spot this cafe is located. Keep up the excellent work!

Delicious coffee and food! We had the oat and chia porridge and the eggs benedict with confit mushrooms. Absolutely delicious and will definitely be back. Such friendly service too!

First time visiting this little cafe this morning with one of my best friends & we loved it! We both had eggs Benedict which was delicious, and the coffee was so yummy I drank it in about 5 minutes which is odd for me! On top of all of that, the service was fabulous with really friendly & well presented gals! As a fellow hospo worker I can really appreciate this.

Stopped in for a coffee. Friendly and prompt service. My only disappointment was that at 11.30am they had run out of muffins. Still the fruit and nut toast was delicious!

Our go to place for eggs benedict - best eggs benny we ever had in Perth/Fremantle. Very reasonably priced too. The place is always very busy and it takes a while for girls to collect orders/serve meals. On our last visit we took a seat and had to wait about 20 minutes until our order was collected. That’s one thing that requires improvement.

Amazing atmosphere and cool vibe. We ordered three meals and the kitchen made a small mistake however we’re so gracious and kind about it. Great service and good was amazing!

The service here is bubbly, happy and nothing less than spectacular, such service should draw a crowd alone.
The food is only bettered by devine selection of coffees, weather milk or straight it is worth a seat and a moment to savour

If you are in the centre of Freo - head down High st towards the round house and you will discover this gem of a cafe. Food is sooo creatively presented- it’s like eating art!

Such a amazing place with tasty dishes and a lovely atmosphere they are also serving best hospitality services even the staff is very cooperative.

Really nice coffee spot located just under the round house. Quirky setting and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for good coffee and atmosphere
