Canteen Pizza reviews
64 Went there for lunch and it was AMAZING.
The food itself was so delicious and the service was great too. The 2 ladies who served us and made our drinks were so lovely and said she made our drinks “with love”. Would definitely recommend:)
Staff and food 10/10! All our food and drinks were fabulous! We came for a staff party and had an issue with an intruder - staff handled the situation amazingly and made us feel safe and welcome the whole time! Absolute legends!
One of the best Woodfire Pizza places you can find in town.massive range of wines to choose from. Make sure you try Oysters and caesar salad.you can't go wrong with Pizza, go crazy, my favourite is the q u a t t r o f o r m a g g i
simply the best!
Service pretty slow and not really engaged. One pizza (rustica) it was less than average, the other one (nduja) instead it was very good.
Amazing pizza! Can’t recommend enough. Great Italian ambience and super friendly staff?
I’m very impressed with their gluten-free base. Must try!
Definitely make sure you have a table reservation before heading over. They’re always super busy. Though you can always get a takeaway and enjoy at the beach.
Canteen has it all: incredible woodfired Neapolitan pizzas (the Nduja and Funghi pizzas are a standout, but don't overlook the weekly specials) ; an extensive but approachable wine list; brilliant negronis; and convivial staff. Highly recommended.
The service is terrible and our initial waitress had no clue. I had to get extra plates myself from the waiters station and my sons pizza came out a good 40mins before mine and my partners and we only ordered oysters in between. When our pizzas finally arrived the waiter did not even take the already used plates I had put to the side with the cutlery on top. We were never asked about our meals or offered a second round of drinks. Mine and my partner pizzas were disgusting. The prosciutto pizza my son ordered was the only decent one. When I left I was asked if I wanted to take the remaining away but there was no way I was tasting it twice.
We will never be back and will stick to a better place in Wembley from now on.
If you want a better pizza, get one from the freezer at a Supermarket.
Pizza great! Food rustic and real. But it come with the ususal cottesloe flair. Over priced ave wines and maybe a bit more welcoming vibe from the staff might help
Very busy and crowded. We did not have pizza bit the food/nibbles were delicious. Would certainly return.
Super soggy dough, like easier to eat it with a spoon.good amout of ingredients, nice embiroment
6 of us had dinner tonight at Canteen. My pizza came out with this massive dollop of? In the middle. It looked like a huge poached egg. I was told it’s a soft cheese and I spreaded it over the pizza. 1st bit and the pizza was soggy and already falling apart. I’ve travelled to 95+ countries and had pizzas everywhere, hundreds of them. This is one of the worst that I ever ever had. I had a pizza at the Windsor in South Perth on Thursday and it was a country mile ahead of what I had tonight. None of us enjoyed our pizzas. It was our first time there and it will be our last. If I could give it a 0 out of 5, I would!
Seriously ordinary. I guess it's just a cult place to say you're eating in Cottesloe.
Pizza bases are soo soggy, you need a spoon to eat it.
The salad was destroyed with sauce.
Omg, why do people eat here?
Very nice pizza. I had the Margarita, in my opinion the measuring stick for a pizza restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Tomato base was fresh and cheese perfect. The woodfired bread with whipped san marzano tomato butter is a must.
Pizza is delish! Well worth a visit just to try it. Only one type of rose by the glass would be good if they could one or two more! Staff are nice
Authentic Neapolitan style pizzas, served fresh from the wood fired oven. Superb accompanying side dishes and a great wine list. Great staff too! Fantastic Tiramisu (other desserts are available!). Well worth the trip to Cottesloe.
Proper napolitan Pizza, the dough exactly how it is supposed to be. Oh and the nutella pizza.great wine selection, too
Cheap eats, literally burned the pizza. A pretty tacky feel and certainly embarrassing for the so called higher end area of cottesloe.
This is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Our pizzas were fab and staff we super friendly and helpful in getting us a table as a walk in. They were also very helpful in adapting to make me a vegan pizza. The cocktails are lovely too.
Quality pizza, knowledgeable staff & a great selection of both local/international wine. The Canteen pizza 2.0 was a great choice. Chicken, Chilli lime etc.
Great view of Cottesloe Beach, friendly staff, the wood fired pizzas were delicious and the steak tartare I highly recommend!
