Broome Caravan Park reviews
55Nice and lovely staff. Pool is great with a long track to really swim your best. Sites are nice and we were advice carefully for our rooftop tent. Yes, leaves everywhere, but who cares?
Amazing pool, relatively big sites. It's let down by its location (can't compete with cable beach parks), but it's also much cheaper
On advise from another traveler who spends 5 months a year here We thought we would give it a go, we booked our site way back in Nov 22 for Aug 23 on he’s advise & we stayed a month, can’t fault the place, they were the most organised park we came across coming up the coast re best times to check in & the fella out front doing traffic control at check in time.we chose a site out the back, yes you had to cart your grey water 20 metres to a dump point but with grey water tanks it’s easy to manage, only gripe was not the parks fault but irresponsible dog owners who think it’s there right to set there dogs free down the back & annoy all other dog owners who obey the park rules, take your mutts to the beach like responsible owners do there’s a few nice beach’s around if you look
A small improvement might be a dedicated pathway through the sites from down back to the toilets, got some grumpy looks walking carefully as you can through sites to get to the toot when park was busy.
Great, slightly out of town spot. Felt safe, and the staff were obliging and always above a beyond with their help.
Good park. Amenities clean. Staff helpful and friendly.
My only suggestion would be a small amenities block down in the back section where the caravans are.
We booked a powered caravan site & stayed early August. BEWARE - We were not told when we booked that we were allocated a site that does not allow a sullage hose, they handed us a 10 ltr bucket & made us empty into a large container located up the road. Ridiculous to make paying guests cart 10 ltr water to a holding tank that has to be lifted above waist height? Seriously? Never heard of this in all our travels & thank goodness we only stayed 4 nights. Our location site (grass at back) were close & narrow. Amenities were kept clean. Pool was lovely. Good location not far from town. Tours picked up out front.
Nice park, super friendly staff, good facilities. Pool is great. Coffee van near reception serves lovely jaffles/coffees.
This caravan park was recommended to us as the best one to stay at in Broome. Right from the start, the staff made everything easy from fitting us in last minute to our dates being mixed up, but they also were very helpful there. The spots were long and wide and shady.
The pool looked amazing, but sadly, I didn't get a chance to use it. I highly recommend this c.p to anyone coming to Broome. 5 stars from me.
We also got to do the overnight trip to the horizontal falls and they pick you up out the front of this caravan park. I recommend this trip too as it was an amazing experience as well.
Excellent caravan park although out of town. The pool made up for it. Very popular place with plenty of site space
Love this Park, We come every year.
The New Owners are continuing to improve everything for our pleasure.
The staff are great.
Suggestion, the Men's middle Ablutions, ie the wash Basins, Taps
And the Piss Trough should be the next upgrade.
Love this Caravan Park Second time back here, and it's just as good. Well laid out, spacious sites, clean amenities, and the best pool that I have ever encountered in a CP. It's ideally located just 8 minutes away from the main shopping centre, and in a quiet location. Jenny at reception is lovely and very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Can thoroughly recommend this Caravan Park. Well done Jenny.
Beautiful place, clean and tidy. Very nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Cabin is beautiful and has all that is required. Will return.
Stayed for 4 nights from 1 to 4 December. Well looked after sites and plenty of room. The pool was fantastic and well maintained. The grounds in general were also well maintained and it was very pleasant watching the wallabies grazing on the grass and frilly lizards parading around showing off their frills. Amenities could do with a face lift but definitely still serviceable. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Great place, awesome people. Pool is amazing. Grounds well maintained. Camped with a tent on the grass. Not sure about the people commenting about not using the grass as when there every tent was on a grass pitch. Just out of town so nice and safe, and had no issues in the 5 days there. Bathrooms ok but could do with a refresh. Otherwise awesome.
A very nice clean and tidy caravan park with a pool. It is a couple kms out of town but it was worth it for the peace and quiet. Good size sites and has many concrete slabs for the whole caravan to sit on as well the annex. There were a couple of good size amenities blocks. We had a very week here.
The park was fine but too far out from the centre and beach. Woukd have been happy to cycle but no pathway on the main road in until old Broome road. I have to say it was a little smelly at times not sure if thete was sewage issues bubbling up from the ground.
Back for our second stay! Staff great really laid back. Love being able to pick my own site. Best pool we have seen. Much cheaper and quieter than the town and cable beach parks.
We arrived at 7pm and managed to get 2 powered sites and 1 cabin. The man and lady who served us was rude, yes, they helped us but not very welcoming or polite. He told us the quiet time was at 10pm but said we had to be quiet even thou it was only 7pm. He was very blunt and rude, if we had somewhere else to stay we would of left. Would not stay again.
Caravan park has approx 266 sites, ATM costs $62 per night. Not within walking distance of any convenience stores. Washing machine 3 working 3 not working. Cloths lines are full.
Site evaluation, it's a dust bowl, no sullage points can be found. Camp kitchen is aged and in need of a good clean.
Park environment, windy dusty and near uninhabitable, site is used for storage of industrial machinery, caravans and trailers.
New site excavation operations currently being developed creating excess dust being blown into park sites making enjoyment of facilities impossible.
When complaints were made, park manager threatened to "make sure we would not stay in any another caravan park". Not very professional - will never return!
Highly recommend staying here great prices pool was perfect not too much chlorine and customer service was the best I'd seen while visiting broome
