Amaroo Retreat & Spa

This place was peaceful, private, professional and had anything and everything you could ask for in a retreat. The on deck spa bath with the forest views was very relaxing. The winter one night escape with the his and hers hot stone massage was fantastic. The bottle of bubbles waiting for us at the spa after the massage was very nice. The place was immaculate clean. Coffee and tea was available free in the room too as well as slippers and robes to wear and use. Movie choices were fantastic. Such a lovely romantic getaway. Highly recommend the Mt Helena tavern for dinner, but I do believe there were food options like cheese platters and such available on request. We had the continental breakfast which was delicious.

An instant calm was felt upon arriving and I felt rejuvenated after only one night.and that's a miracle for a stress head like me! The owner, and builder, has put a lot of thought into the constructuion of this retreat, from the placement and privacy screens to the soundproofed showers and latrine. AAA+

We just enjoyed two fantastic days and nights at Amaroo. The staff were always lovely and friendly, the room was beautiful with a lovely view of the bush and kangaroos. The spa in the balcony was beautiful and we had a cunning possum that visited us at night. The massage was also lovely.

Heaven in Perth!
Absolutely gorgeous place a stone's through from Perth CBD.
Greeting by lovely staff and a glass of bubbles followed by a wonderful massage and facial treatment.

My partner and I stayed at amaroo (I surprised him after he had been doing long FIFO stints). The beautiful staff were more than accommodating in setting up our room with flower petals, our spa running and bubbly cold and everything we needed. Unfortunately I don’t have photos only videos but the place is beyond stunning! We were lucky enough to be the only couple in the pool area when we went and it is such a magical place, beautiful birds in the trees and all the finishings in the rooms and also around the area are high end. As their restaurant was not open when we went in early March we packed a tapas style dinner with candles and it was perfect. Once turning off the spa it does take a while to heat back up so In hindsight perhaps we should have emptied it and started again with hot water. Once the jets were on it was lovely despite slightly cramped with the two of us inside. There aren’t too many high end dining facilities nearby so will be fantastic once their lounge/restaurant is open. We didn’t get to try a massage so can’t comment on that but we loved the in house movies on the tv, fab to relax in! The only slight change I would suggest is that in a place where everything was so luxe and the cost per night is fairly high, I would suggest changing the water bottles to a nicer brand (ie Voss) just to tie in with everything else. We were very fortunate to receive an upgrade to a king room and it was sensational (since we only have a queen at home it was nice being able to spread out) and the marble in the bathroom and everything is just fantastic. We have told many people of our lovely night away and this new establishment. Would highlyyy recommend staying here, we have stayed at many many places in Perth and this one by far would be our favourite! Look forward to returning and trying their dining and spa facilities!:)

Amaroo is a unique venue in Perth. A place where you can relax in absolute luxury, surrounded by nature in your own private cabin, with private hot tub, top class spa facilities, pool, and bar/restaurant. The perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Wow from the minute you drive through the tree lined driveway youll feel relaxed. Fab friendly check in. Rooms are 5 star we loved the spa on the balcony looking out to the trees very peaceful. Breakfast was lovely on the balcony. Day spa was great, massage very relaxing the girls are so friendly. Pool was amazing cant wait to come back when the restaurant is open and poolside service. This place is truly a 5 star gem and whats more its only 40mins from the Swan Valley. Thanks Jordyan for your hospitality see you when the restaurant opens
