I was a patient of Penny Wood. Would not recommend. She is responsible for having a negative influence on my life. What happened to her so called assistance re mental health?

Been going there for many years. Wouldn't do a prescription re write because they are fully booked.with one doctor working? This place is a disgrace the receptionist is rude.and self entitled. It takes less than a minute to write a prescription. This place is a dive and continually gets worse. I have waited hours past an appointment time countless times over the years however this takes the cake Such a shame and bitter disappointment after 10 loyal years. My family and I have changed practice

I called this morning to see if they were making appointments for Pfizer and Fran said just ‘no’. She then said instead of ringing around go to this website. I wasn’t ‘ringing around’ I was calling my Doctors surgery that I have been going to for 30 years. Please don’t be so rude on the phone it can actually ruin someone’s day. I have had another problem with this surgery and am now looking for a new Doctor. Such a shame after 30 years.

Over 20 yrs I've been coming to this practice, unfortunately after today I will be looking for somewhere closer to home, the front reception people certainly aren't what they used to be

Terrible and Very unreliable for a gp. On two separate occasions for two totally different ailments they have played down what was wrong. Lucky for my gut instinct i went and got a second opinion both times and thankfully both problems were picked up before they became a lot worse in the state of my health.avoid these cowboys if you value your life!

I'm frustrated that they had not updated their website to remove the open clinic availability when apparently they had removed that service months back. Instead I had clearly limped in with an injury hoping to have it checked only to be turned away, and the receptionists didnt seem apologetic at all. Perhaps yes I should have called in to double check, but I trusted that the website was up to date and now I've wasted time I could have used resting my injury.

I have been coming here for years and this morning was very disappointed by having to cancel my daughter's 8am appointment due to her being unexpectedly unwell overnight. I tried calling earlier in the morning to see if I could leave a message to advise of cancellation but could only get in contact when the clinic opened, only to be abruptly being told she would be a DNA by a very rude receptionist. This was rather upsetting and I understand cancellations are annoying, but I think your staff need better training in customer service. Shame as my teen is very comfortable with her GP and has been of great help.

I have gone to see Dr Moya Wood for a number of years now and have found that she always gives accurate diagnosis for my problems

My small son, a toddler also goes to her for his regular check ups and she is good with children

Great Drs, Dr Rosalind Forward in particular. Running a bit late but that is because she has time for everyone. Not happy about having to pay after school hours for children though.

I was referred here for my gender transition, the recwption staff are lovely and doctor matilda Oak is very friendly, welcoming and bubbly. I would recommend this place for anyone with gender dysphoria!

Friendly place and the manager took the time to help set up my health records. They fit me in as u couldn't see the doctor was fairly good.
Rated 4 as no western male doctors.

I have been a patient of this practice form the early 1980s and have generally found that the general medical practitioners have provided excellent level of health care and support.

In recent time I have noted a change in that when consulting with the GP they will only provide a service for one health issue at each consult and you are require d to schedule a further appointment if you have more than one health issue.

For many years I have attended this practice for a annual health check and when scheduling an appointment have requested and extended appointment session. Service provided is generally excellent.

Following the appointment it is often necessary to return to the practice to discuss the health results a week later. It is at the discretion of the practice whether the patient is charged for the follow up consult. I noted that this year the practice has charged $70.00 per consult.

Overall a good practice though, like the main stream of health care, from my perspective the focus seems to be based on more of a business model.

Would I attend this practice again? Well the delivery of health care is great however the doctor patient relationship is changing. So yes I would attend again if I have to. Would I attend for regular check up each year? My first reaction on being charged a second consult follow up was "No" however now that I have settled and recognise that the service provided is a business probably will

I just had a consult with Dr Kelly and she was so lovely and approachable. She was very knowledgeable, provided me with great advice, and was willing to listen and answer any questions that I had. We will be making Dr Kelly and Alexander Heights our family GP.

Caring, compationet and understanding of health issues. I've been using this practice for years and would recommend them with no hesitation

Great experience with Dr Morgane today. It was my first time seeing her and she was extremely empathetic, professional and took time to discuss my issues in detail with me.

Awesome experience! The front desk staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Dr Penny is one of the kindest person that I’ve met. She always listened all of my concerns and explained everything so I could understand. She also comfortable to talk to and she truly cares about her patients especially a good rapport with my children. If you or even your family and friends are looking for their healthcare provider I highly recommend to visit Alexander Family Practice.

In terms of a first appointment, Dr Penny Wood was very good and very thorough and spent the time needed.

My only issue is the practice has a policy to charge a healthcare card holder for their first appointment, which is not standard practice across 99% of centres.

The Vietnamese girl at reception, sorry I did not remember her name, was also very good, excellent customer service and very helpful with all the forms and advice.

I will be a regular patient here from now on.

Easy on line appointment, on time double consultation. Not rushed, Dr. Tan dealt with each issue.

Great family practice. Dr Roxanne is an amazing doctor. She is empathetic, patient and so knowledgeable!

I have now seen Dr Morgane Davies and Dr Roxanne Connaughton.
They are both friendly, thorough and genuinely want to help. Their follow up care has been fantastic.

I took my sick baby to see Dr Morgane and she was so patient and gentle with her.

Any patients with respiratory symptoms are seen in an isolation room. I applaud The Practice in taking this cautious approach to keep their staff and their other patients safe.
