Ace Rental Cars Perth Airport

Rented a car to drive down to Margaret River. The car was fairly new, with low km's. No problems at all with the car

The pricing was reasonable

Fast service, very considerate staff, and car was in pristine condition. The shuttle bus wait was about 20 minutes, however. Considering the price, great value for money

Would give less than a star if I could. Aaron the General Manager is a rude, unprofessional, un educated and offensive employee who was a nightmare to deal with. Furthermore, money was fraudulently retrieved from my account which to date has not been returned as promised.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Good car, but staff unfriendly and non-professional. And after 2 weeks I'm still waiting my caution of 750$!

Service and staff are friendly. The only problem was you got to call them once you arrive at airport so they come by shuttle van and send you to their office to pick up the car. Price was ok & car conditions are ok too.

Everything went very well. Staff were polite and helpful and the vehicle I hired was in very good condition. I would be happy to recommend this business. Thank you

These guys forgot to tell me they would hold $750 from my credit card for up to 30 days after hire. They claim to have no idea how long it will take to get back into my account. Guy I spoke was could not have cared less about the fact this wasn’t explained and is pretty outrageous service. With so many other options, don’t bother going to these guys.

Booked through a site that said it was located at airport which it wasnt. Long shuttle ride and had to uber on return costing $20. Vehicle was old with many kms. Only positive was the price, which nearly didnt matter after the uber.

Zero customer service, the lady talks angrily to the customers.
Rented a car for Uber for two months, then when came to swap it with another car Uber asked me to get the omnibus documents from Ace, when I went back to Ace, they told me it's not registered as chartered vehicle.
Plus the car was so dirty and smells smoky.
When I decided to return it, the front office worker told me he is not authorized to refund me and I have to wait till Monday to speak to the manager.

If you book online and not directly with them they expect you to get more insurance as the insurance you bought online they wont honour. Then they hold $750 till you get back and advise it can take 30 days to get back. No friendly service however the car worked and although we had to wait for it the shuttle did eventally arrive and take us back to the airport. Th e driver was pleasant.

Possibly the worst car rental I have used. Avoid at all costs. Miles from the airport and they advertise as an airport service. Almost missed our flight home waiting for their bus. No cheaper than any of the others but you’ll need to add at least two hours to your journey to the airport to ensure you don’t miss your flight. Terrible.

Booked a corolla and got a Kia. They're not the same car, nor the same level of quality. Won't be using ace car rentals again!

We used Ace Rentals for a recent holiday from Sydney to Perth. They are inconveniently located about 15 mins drive away from Perth Airport and aren't very clear in communicating bus shuttle times. You will need to call them when you arrive so leave at least a 30 min buffer to and from.

For us, our flight back home was at 10pm at night. On the first day we specifically asked the Customer Service Attendant whether there were any set times for the return shuttle so that we could plan our trip back but they failed to mention that the office closes at 6pm and simply said that "it should be fine to catch a shuttle back any time". We only realised on the last day that we would need to catch a taxi back as they would be closed by the time we got there.

If you don't return the car at 10am on the last day, they will charge you for an extra day. Yes, we could have paid attention to this detail earlier but generally it's quite standard when booking a car that you input your arrival and departure times and you have the car hire aligned to that time-frame. Pretty annoyed to be charged an extra day for not returning the car in the morning when my flight is 10pm that night.

All other car rentals I have used have allowed use up until the flight departure time and haven't charged extra if a few extra hours were needed. We probably ended up spending more money in the end with the extra day and taxi back to the airport so I'd definitely recommend to use a more reliable and customer friendly rental service.

Also, note that they put a $750 block on your card.

Overall, I would say the customer service staff weren't necessarily rude but definitely not friendly and not accommodating in any way. The only positives was that the car was in good condition (but to be honest I see this as a minimum standard with all other rentals companies anyway) and the shuttle bus driver was friendly.

Good Experience With Ace Car Rental. They put a $750 Excess when you do rental with them, which is okay. Service is pretty straight forward and fast. Airport Ferry are provided like every 30minutes +.
And It by credit card charge which is okay.

The Car Cleanness is still okay.
The Car Engine condition is top-tip.
