Consistently excellent service, from pickup at the airport terminal, to checkin, to return. Everyone in this facility just shone in their service to their customers. Thank you!

Booked car for 15th January 2024 for 5pm. Plane was delayed by 20 minutes and luggage about another 20 minutes. We were looking for the Ace Bus outside the terminal but it was not there. Phoned a number times and the phone rang out each time. Then looked up their website and found that they had closed for the day.
We had to find our way to our accommodation.
Don’t trust this car hire company.

Absolutely disappointing lack of service. Ace Car Rentals left a young family stranded at the airport as the Ace Car Rentals office closed before our scheduled flight arrived.

We received zero correspondence from Ace Car Rentals relating to their operational hours and the inability to provide us a car regardless of the online booking completed.

10 days later we still have not heard from Ace Car Rentals with an explanation.

Thankfully Budget Car Rentals at the airport heard our story and provided us a car. 5 stars for Budget Car Rentals.

Disappointed with our full experience. Had to wait an hour for our car to arrive and ended up leaving with an 8 seater van as our booked car wasn’t available. Paid for 3 days but only had the car for 48hours, when we asked to extend our booking by 2 hours we got an immediate response from them saying they could not amend our booking and we would have to pay an hourly late fee if it were returned after 10am. They weren’t open to discuss our options or concerns even though we had to put up with their issues of our booked car not being available and the next available van being given to us an hour late. The van itself was in good condition but i think the service needs improving. Would probably not book with them again.

Ace Car Rentals at Perth Airport cannot be trusted. Before returning our car, we filled the fuel tank at the 7 Eleven service station, 4 kms from the Ace Car Rentals office at 17 Ross Drive. We then returned the car and, as requested, left the 7 Eleven docket with them. A few days later we discovered we had been charged $8.46 for fuel (approx. 4 litres) and $36.36 handing charge plus GST. When I rang Priya at the Perth office, she just said it was out of her hands. A letter to Hertz, the parent company in Melbourne, was of course disregarded. I was asked to complete an online evaluation and my dissatisfaction was noted with a response that someone would contact me within 48 hours. Of course, I am still waiting. We should have taken a photo of the fuel gauge, but I suspect they would have ignored that also. This is a nice little earner for Ace Car Rentals which explains the bad reputation that many car hire companies have. Don’t risk hiring from Ace Car Rentals at Perth Airport. The staff may be friendly, but their business practices are unethical.

An excellent experience.
THE SERVICE OFFICER went out his way to help me hire a Car i was so grateful for his help he was efficient and certainly knew his cars, i received electronic confirmation and receipt of payment immediately - car was handed over with full instructions I would recommend hiring a car from ace anytime, 100 percent better cars and the service received was so much better than the other car hire business's around the airport - save yourself a headache and use ace - kind regards tanya

Genuinely awful service. DO NOT rent a car through them. Everyone from the business went home without advising us and we were unable to get our car. They do not have a location in the airport and are entirely unhelpful in the entire process.

We arrived on Easter Monday at Perth Airport from a remote airport and have been advised that the team has left and we cannot access the car. Staff at HERTZ counter and on the Ace phone are in desperate need of some customer service training and acted absolutely unprofessional. No communications advising of shortened opening hours was received and no one bothered to call when the car (fully paid) was not picked up before leaving. We've been stranded with 5 adults and no help and ended up renting on the spot with Europcar at Perth airport, which have been amazing. We're still fighting to get our money back.

Tried the website to check for cars a few times now. Always errors: no connection available, no cars, etc. Also, I get these "book a month with a discount promo code". When I use that one no cars are available. This feels like a scam or maybe they don't want to rent cars.

Had a good experience with this rental company. Car was very new & was economical on fuel & easy to drive. Their shuttle service to the terminal was fantastic. Would probably use them again. Little distance from the terminals but good prices.

They advertise on their website that they are the cheapest car, rental company in Perth, guaranteed! This is not true they are at least six dollars dearer than Aries rental company. Clearly they are not able to be competitive in the market.

I booked a mystery car online, from the Perth Airport Site. I arrived on March 10, and was greeted by Karen. I was advised that the Mystery Car was a near new Kia Carnival 7 seater Diesel with all the trimmings for a cost of an i30. Thank you Karen, you were helpful.

Very old model cars, limited staff and very pricy. Charged us 100$ for car cleaning especially when the car provided was in mess.

The Perth office closes at 5PM sharp. I would have been able to pick up my car on time, but my flight was delayed and landed shortly after the office closed. My partner (not on the flight) called head office during my flight. Head office told her that they knew my flight was delayed, the office would stay open for me and the shuttle bus would be waiting for me. Arrived to find no shuttle bus, no one answering the shuttle bus phone number and the head office closed. I ended up having to organise extra accommodation at very short notice. Also got no refund for having the car for one less day.

Given how long it takes to fly to Perth, having an office that closes at 5PM means that a large number of flights can't get a hire car from you, even more when you consider the risk of delays. I would never have hired a car from Ace if I had realised the office closed at 5 before booking.

Being told that the office would stay open and then finding it closed anyway just added insult to injury.

If you don't mind risking not being able to actually get your car, Ace is the company for you.

Misleading advertising in regards to shuttle transfer between terminals 1 and 4. Booking was taken and only upon arrival were we informed that there was no shuttle service at our departure time.
When arrived we called the required phone # to be collected and there was no answer for 45 minutes. It took 1 hr 15 minutes from disembarking before we were leaving the airport. The condition report of the vehicle was lacking and there is no way of completing an inspection with the staff members.
While the hire rate is somewhat less than competition the service supplied is if far below expectations.

Broke down three times in 2 days thanks to someone before us stealing the battery and replacing it with one from 2014! On one occasion we nearly missed our $800 whale watching tour (which was a 2hr drive away at 5am!). Very stressful. When I advised the counter staff on return of the vehicle, I was told a Manger would investigate. 3 days later I've heard nothing. With all the stress, we forgot to fill up the tank, and within hours, we received the $77 bill ($40 of that for the inconvenience of having to get the fuel). The inconvenience of breaking down 3 times in 2 days was a lot more than their inconvenience! No compensation for me, not even an acknowledgement to date. I don't blame the company for the battery, but they need to take responsibility for the poor customer service (which they can still resolve if I'm contacted). One star for the nice counter staff. One star for the awesome roadside assistance at Albany and Bremer Bay. Awaiting a response. UPDATE - I received a prompt reply and call from the location Manger, Karen and a refund of our petrol. Thank you Karen, greatly appreciated. I added an extra star. I now feel acknowledged.

This is the worst hire car experience I have ever had. Pickup instructions were conflicting and delayed me by an hour, the receptionist argued with me regarding this when I pointed it out to her. After the car was returned undamaged they then deducted $527 from my account saying I had damaged the car. When I asked them to provide proof they said they would send photos. None arrived and when I had to follow them up they informed me that they had refunded the money to me as they had made a mistake. I will never use this company and nor should you! NO STARS
