ABS Midland - Automotive Service Centre

Charged an excessive amount to replace a high pressure hose and reservoir hose on power steering, $925. And they wanted extra $150 to degrease which I did myself on weekend. I looked at hoses they replaced and I reckon it was an easy job. They were Looking for extra work and told me power steering pump needed replacing as it was noisy. I didn’t get this done and when I picked car up they said the noise had gone. They wanted to do a wheel alignment, something I had done recently when I purchased new tyres elsewhere. Told me drive belt and adjuster needed replacing. Car is only 5k km from last log book service. First and last time I go there.

I needed to have the tow ball swapped around to the lower the height on the draw bar. I wandered in unannounced and they swapped it for me there and then, no hassle, no charge. That's the great service I've become accustomed to in dealing with these guys. Nothing is too much trouble or can't be worked through. Thanks to Craig and the team

Repair to side mirror was grossly over charged $185 and rattle to speaker in door was incorrectly diagnosed as needing complete replacement costing approx. $425 but all that was needed was a bracket replacement which cost $50.

I have been using ABS midland for two years now. Because we use the vehicle in remote areas is important we have a well serviced car. Every time I have taken my car in the staff at the counter are always helpful and friendly. Work is always done on time with regular updates of its progress. Prices have always been competitive and work done in a professional manner. I rarely recommend services but with the service we have had to date, I would have no issue in recommending ABS Midland.

I had an issue with the suspension in my car. Neither myself, my mechanically minded friend or my trusted mechanic could find the fault. After searching the internet for a local suspension specialist, I decided to take the car to ABS in Midland. Not expecting them to find the issue, I wasn’t holding any hope for a resolution. They had the car for the day as it also needed a wheel alignment. Towards the end of the day, I received a call to say that the problem was fixed and the car was ready for pick up. I was amazed. Not only was the problem solved but they had tightened all chassis bolts and washed the car as well. They gave me a detailed report and explained what they had done in great detail. I’m very happy with their service and can totally recommend them to anyone.

ABS Midland gave a competitive and detailed quote for a repair and the final cost ended up being less than estimated. Communicated with us throughout the process and supplied a loan car. Friendly and thorough service. Will be back.
