Absolutely amazing service from Krista and the team today - had some trouble with my transmission and they have analysed the issue thoroughly as well as giving me a few options for repair. Great communication throughout the day and very transparent on pricing. Thank you ABS Midland, I’ll be back!

I first went to ABS in Victoria as my shock absorbers needed replacing. I decided to use ABS to ensure they quoted the correct shocks and just in case there was an issue with the shocks in the future as I was going to be back in Perth soon with the car and they have ABS here. Within the year one of my shock absorbers decided to start leaking. I took it to ABS midland where they inspected the car and told me that I'll have to bring it back in to replace the leaking shock. This was completed. 10 months (and only 7,000 kms) later the same shock started leaking. I called ABS and they took a few weeks to get back to me stating that they would have to check with the supplier in terms of the warranty. After 3 more weeks, I had to contact ABS. They stated that the manufacturer will not accept responsibility and neither will ABS. The only solution they offered was to remove the shock at my cost and have my car off the road and send the shock to the supplier for an inspection to decide if it is covered under warranty. I tried multiple attempts for ABS to rectify the issue however they took no responsibility.
The price they charged for 4 shocks in the first place was much higher than I could get from any auto shop and then the price to fit was too high. The only reason I decided to go with them was just in case something like this happens. I would recommend staying well away and find a service centre with out these types of reviews.

DO NOT take your car to ABS midland they charge so much and are not clear on quoting works on your vehicle, they will keep calling you and add more prices to the bill to fix your car. They claimed my oil cooler needed replacing and charged me $1400 for a new one, I requested them to keep my old oil cooler to inspect it myself it took me 5 mins to clean it up and now it's good as new sitting in my garage and now I'm $1400 out of pocked just because your mechanics were incompetent to clean something up instead just bolt new parts on. Also I paid for a cooler flush which cost me $245 then they told me there was a blockage with my cooling system and it was a further $345 to keep looking for the blockage which they claimed it could possibly be the thermostat but wasn't sure, then the lady behind the counter said they cut some air hose to allow more air flow, I suspect during the flushing your mechanics pushed stuff though the lines which caused the blocked but yet again I had to pay for the mechanics stuff up. They tried to pull the wool over my eyes but I have knowledge with cars and normally service my car myself but I trusted these guys to do the right thing. They are money hungry and will rip you right off.stay well away from them I believe there mehcanics have no idea. Never again will I go back and nor will I ever recommend anyone to this business, save your money take it to a professional

Scammers.
Ripped off my wife. A simple air con regas for $225 turned into $2425 for a fault that didn’t exist. The service manager said she was there and saw the pressure drop when testing. Why would someone who’s not a mechanic oversee a qualified mechanic? Sounded suspicious so took my car to another mechanic who confirmed my suspicions. How low can you get.
Spoke to the owner Craig, I guess ripping people off comes from the top.

I've used ABS Auto Midland for a number of car care services over a couple of years for our Landcruiser and Golf and have found them to be so helpful every time.

Lovely people on the front desk and very organised.

Done extensive work on my 2001 VX clubby very happy with work and the way I was treated. Always followed up during repairs. Can not say enough very impressive very highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic mechanical service with such a thorough report on my car. Brilliant friendly customer service from the young lady in the office too.

The little goodies bag is a nice personal touch and how unreal receiving free roadside assistance included just for receiving my business!

Be sure to obtain a second quote as the prices they gave me were horrendous. My car blew a radiator and I took my car there as they had good reviews and I could get it there without a tow truck. After paying 225 for the diagnosis which was a cracked radiator as I told them when I dropped it off. They gave me a quote which was double what I ended up paying at my usual mechanic. RIP OFF

ABS Carried out a full service on my landcruiser.
They did a brilliant job with informing me on what needed to be done, advise and also the cost to complete it. Customer service is fantastic.

ABS were so helpful with a recent tyre replacement. The job was urgent and they had our tyre in within the same day whereas 3 other businesses said it was not possible to get that tyre from the same supplier for 3-4 days. Super friendly staff and by far the cheapest quote too. Thankyou, we will be back for sure.

ABS was booked for a regular service and they advised me that the shackles and bushes were in need of attention. They recommended replacing, gave me a quote on the phone and I agreed for them to go ahead. All work was completed on the same day as promised. Excellent service and attention to detail. Very thankful to the crew and I will be back for all future servicing and repairs to my Navara.
