Yokoso Izakaya

Thought we would support Yokoso on Saturday night since we are in lock down. Food was delicious as always and ready on time for pick up. The yummy food brighten our night up. Thanks Yokoso

The food is not bad. Only issue, it soup based too salty.especially it sukiyaki. Tried first time, thought the chef have a bad day. Second time, same saltiness. So there will be no third time I think ️

Been here couple times, never regret! Love their beef tartare and grilled plate. One of the best Japanese Restaurant in the area.

Yokoso is a great Japanese Izakaya restaurant. The food is very reminiscent of what you would expect from an Izakaya. The banquet is highly recommended, and offers awesome value. We have visited this restaurant a half a dozen times. Based on the food, service and the atmosphere the restaurant is easily worthy of a 5 star review. The bathrooms desperately need remodeling or renovated to make for more hygienic amenities, and sadly, this reflected on my review score. I would gladly upgrade this review to 5 stars if or when there is a refresh of the amenities.

Well packaged for takeaway and very tasty! Order the beef sukiyaki soup that comes with the rice along with the tuna and scallops sashimi slices. Yum!

Had UberEats from Yokoso Izakaya and it was amazing! Will be the only Japanese place I will order from in the area now!

I can't wait to be able to dine in after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. The takeaway quality was superb. Don't be concerned with the cost, it's worth every penny!

Decent sushi, nice atmosphere, waitstaff a bit unorganized but friendly so made up for the wait and missing orders.

We had high hopes for this place. It looked like a decent izakaya from the outside. When we got there, the host that greeted us almost shouted as if she was angry. Then the entrees came. The sauce on the agedashi tofu was too salty, the tempura came without a dipping sauce but had mayo on top of it. Then the mains: the yakitori had the same sauce as the agedashi tofu, only thicker, and the sushi wasn't served at the right temperature. Then came the cheese katsu. This was disappointing. It's capsicums, cheese, and bokchoy (!) wrapped in a pork fillet, frozen, then deep-fried. It wouldn't be good even if you were drunk. It's just really disappointing. We're never eating here again.

Dine here every week - food consistently spot-on -Yokoso boxes well above its weight yet reasonably priced. Service is friendly and attentive. Can't speak highly enough of Yeon and her team.

Actual ridiculous how good the food is. The wagyu beef on the skewers felt like we were eating clouds they were that tender. Tell me you've had nicer beef in melbourne and i'll slap you for being a liar. The mrs hasn't stopped talking about it and we were here like 6 months ago. 12/10 will be back soon

Fantastic Japanese, flavourful food and it has the vibe of a Tokyo izakaya as soon as you want in. The best!
