88Bad experience with customer service from the girl who assigned the customer to sales representative today
Tried to combine my bills and make changes to my account. But because my mobile number, Apple Watch, nbn all are on an old system the couldn’t combine and data share with my iPad Pro which is on a new system. They literally stared at me, searched the Optus website click a few buttons and said “uh yeah I can’t combine your bills and data share, sorry” and sat there staring at me.
Talk about some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had.
Omg optus service is sucks
I spent 2 hours there just to ask for my relocation of my NBN service_
My preference in Optus CBD stores, but like all of them, you need to visit in lull-times or be ready for a wait
I randomly popped in to sort out why my internet was so slow, even after calling Optus multiple times over the past year, updating my modem etc. The guy found out that I was on the slowest service available, so sorted me with NBN and for less than I'm paying now. Sweet!
But seriously, Optus sort your tech support out. I was close to walking out to another provider.
I'm usually not the one to complain about customer service but this store's service quality is disastrous. I would recommend the bigger Optus store on the other end of Bourke street or the one at Collins street. Try to avoid this one if you don't want your day ruined.
The sale representative is not aware of all the rules of Trade - In and initially denied. Then I spoke to customer care center and understood that store sale representative is not aware of all the facts. Even after that she spoke to the manager and told me that the rule has changed suddenly! Overall the conversation was not friendly.
Worst service ever. Bought a $35 screen protector and asked them to install it for me. Outcome was a bubbly glass and they refused to either refund or replace it.will never return there for anything.
The staff was very nice and helpful. They answered our questions and tried to solve the problem
The only thing shop assistant can do is give you handbooks and told you to solve problems by yourself. So helpful:)
Had a great experience. Extremely helpful staff even though they were very busy. I dont remember the guys name but the blonde hair aussie was very helpful in holding my phone until I could come back.
These guys are trying to charge me $1200 to cancel my plan 7 months before the ‘24 month’ contact is up after I already have been paying $120 per month for the same service some of my friends pay $40 a month for on different service providers. They also cannot tell me what my money is going towards, other than telling me ‘oh well, you signed it’ HORRIBLE SERVICE! Do not let this Corp rob you.
Waited over a week to hear about my replacement phone coming in, only to walk in and hear that I was messaged a week before. I told them I never got said message, and there was no proof it went through. The assistant didn’t really seem to care that I wasn’t contacted, gave me a brief answer that didn’t tell me anything or give me a good explanation as to why I wasn’t contacted properly. Bad customer service indeed.
These guys are useless. All they do is say they can't help you and hand you a phone to speak to Customer Care. Why do these stores exist then?
I took a change of ownership form into this store. I needed to port my mobile number from my old employer to a personal account. The guy in the store told me I had to bring a director from my company into the store to get it approved. That was wrong. Completely wrong. Wasted my time. I went around the corner and had it done at Collins St instead.
System down twice, i came back to the store 4 times to get a sim plan on promotion.
Still, can’t get the simcard activated

I pretty much got scammed by Optus, broken sim from when I got it at the airport and won’t even take responsibility for it
Absolutely astounding service by the lanky Sri-Lanki! I think his name was Kris and he was superb! Please everyone go see this dapper young man for a great deal, he certainly gave me one!
This is the worst service i have ever had. Even if there were good vibes in there, i had to come back 5 times and finally i couldn't keep my number.
Worst customer service. The staff expect customers to greet and request them for assistance only then they can assist.
