I bought a new phone number from them and this number was black listed. They didn’t even know the number was black listed. I went to get it fixed and they didn’t care about my issue and they were just trying to sell me a new phone
I recently visited the store and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The salesperson, Baris, was quite rude and unprofessional. He didn't greet properly and seemed disinterested in assisting me. It's surprising to encounter such poor customer service from a reputable company like Optus. I hope they address these issues and improve their service quality.
Just want to give the Sarah a 1 star,when we want to get a physical copy of the receipt, she just rolled her eyes. But she is nice to the white people.
The lady at the front! She is one of the worst store manger I have ever seen so far …What is wrong with the Optus. Why the hell they are hiring such a rude people for customer service. I was there for 20 minutes atleast and that lady she was in her phone the whole time and she has got some attitude… rather than talking to customers about enquires some of the staff talking to her and laughing really loudly… do you guys even have any manners or experience of customer service.the whole staff is like babies and she is theirs mama.
Optus at Bourke st. Terrible customer service. The person attending the query just wanted to close the query without resolving the issue. Communication was very unfriendly and seemed like the guy was in a hurry.
Treat you customers well.
Be careful, they can misguide you and you cannot get the service you have already been paying for months. They do not even say sorry for that. Disappointing.
The lady with brown hair that stands at the front, I think she’s a manger is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in customer service, literally don’t know why she’s working with the public when she constantly looks angry and has a attitude…. And speaks to you in such a inappropriate manner, like she’s looking for a argument.
I’ve encounter this literally 5 or 6 times,
She may want to consider a career change or get some tips on how to work in customer service across the road from Telstra who are lovely.
If you’d like to know why I’ve changed phone providers she is the reason.
Went to the store.
The staff ignored me.
I tried to tell my problems that I cannot renew my plan. They said they cannot help with that and asked me to call the call center.
The call center hang up my phone without saying anything.
I have to wait the staff again for their next available.
Then call the call center again.
They said they cannot help and I need to wait until tomorrow.

BE CAREFUL. Wouldn't buy there again. They have a ZERO CASH REFUNDS policy, that they of course don't disclose at the time of purchase.
Short story: safe yourself the frustration and don't do business with them.
Long story.
Bought some evidently faulty BT earplugs and immediately wanted to return them (within 24hrs) but was turned down and offered some replacements instead. Not what I wanted as I was only travelling through MLB and wouldn't be able to reclaim if the 2nd pair was faulty as well. Still, no cash refunds!
Now I'm stuck with a bad but expensive product where neither the manufacturer nor the store assume any responsibility.
AVOID. Stealing from me! They charged me for an esim that was then activated under another customer’s name and this customer has access to my credit card information and has been using it each month and Optus is not helping! I received a refund for the first month but it happened again!

So many misleading! Said the iPhone will come two to three days but I wait over weeks even months!
The store has been very bad under this management, the manger is Chris, not helpful at all, don't want to serve, just say no to evrything, don't want to offer solution, I found the solution myself.
Another staff names Shane, no patient, talk like he just wake up, try to hang my phone when I was still explain to him my situation, he felt anoyed and said I was yelling, then he hanged up, just like the store manager, Old saying, like manager like staff (like father like son)
SARAH, helped understand I was frustrated, she tried to help me as much as I could, better than Chris.
Very disappointing.have been with optus for more than 10 years! Don't understand why need optus store If we have to fix everything ourselves
I went in for a phone plan for 24 month. Kevin was really helpful and amazing! He introduced the best plan and discount, and I was greatful for how patience he was to explain the math to me lol. After half an hour, I got my new phone and a new Samsung watch. The store made me feel welcomed and the service was quick and efficient!

Eric, Stefan, Jonno and Michael S, all went out of their way to help me deal with a 3 week long issue due to the Credit department being incompetent. If it wasn’t for them I would have canceled my contract and gone to Vodafone. Thanks guys!
Went there for eSim swap last weekend and Optus staff, Shaun, expect me to hv wifi hotspot with me? He asked me to do things without telling why. I don't know how he expects customer to understand all he said without rationale. And eventually he raised his tone which quite rude. Feel bad coming out with this service.
More than awful service and rude behaviour from this guy named Matt. Extremely unhelpful and rude. Can’t believe how can such a person be working in front end retail. He clearly doesn’t know how to behave with clients. Even more shocking to see a Store manager tag over his name card. Clearly a wrong decision to have a person like him standing at the front of the store.
Terrible service provided by Michael. Just avoid getting assistance from him, he won't try to help you and instead give you more dramas.
SO RUDE! I went 3 DOORS DOWN AND ENJOYED SPENDING MY MONEY WITH VODAFONE (so I guess you did me a favor!)!
