Yellow Bird Cafe

Awesome place for breakfast or lunch, the food is pretty nice and the staff are friendly, I do recommend Yellow Bird Cafe for a comfortable laid back place to catch up with friends or to just go out for a good feed, I've been going here for years and haven't been disappointed yet.

I always enjoy the atmosphere, but the food has been lacking recently. The chicken wings were tough and a wet wipe would be appreciated for the saucey sauce. The chicken tacos were a little disappointing. The sauce on top wasn't very delicious. The staff are always great, but the menu is missing flavour punches.

Tried calling them to ask what's in our food but no answer.me and my partner felt sick 15 minutes after leaving the place. We had chicken and cheese burrito and it was happy hour so we had chicken and fish tacos with lemon lime bitters.

Absolute legends that looked after us tonight! Great food, service and booze! Never disappoints

Loved the place. Day and night has a great relaxed feel to it. Music was perfect for anyone who went to a bar or pub in the 90s

An inviting little cantina based on Melbournes famous Chapel Street, Yellowbird features a great range of food and drinks at a moderate price. Great for a casual drink l, or even a heavy bender. The staff are also very inviting and professional.

Delicious meals. Had ridiculously delicious mushrooms with a meal. Happy to cater to vegetarians/vegans. Coffee also good and they bring out condiments with meals (always a bonus). Friendly, professional and casual staff.

Great value for money! Love the decor and music. Owner is so nice and all of the staff are really helpful! I had the southern fried chicken burger and a sweet caroline cocktail, both so good. Cannot recommend it enough!

Good Ambience and nice food but service was not good especially those waitress are so rude to serve us.

I've been trying to stick to a keto diet and orderingva low-carb breakfast was easy, drama-free and didn't require lots of explanation.

Overall a great experience.

I really enjoyed the mushroom burger and chicken Parma with lots of chips. You are not able to finish it. Beautiful and carrying staffs are taking care of you and you feel more welcoming. Thanks guys!

Amazing place with good prices and large portions. One of the few place I've found that has delicious food with a large range, from Mexican to American etc

Feedback: I been a patron for over 6 years and I keep kindly telling you guys to put the volume down. The music is great but it is too loud. Not good for a dinner/drinks environment. Every time I go there with my friends, they love the food but we can't even have a conversation and we end up leaving to somewhere else and spending less $ Because we cant hear each other. And i know most of people have the same opinion. I get it is a rock bar but during the lunch/ dinner some people would like catch up and have a conversation.right? You would get so much more $ if you consider to put your music down.

The staff are always really friendly here and the music is always great.always guaranteed to have a nice time

Yummy food and big servings all well priced, the only let down is the lack of service and it wasn't busy yet being a Monday at 6pm

Burgers are terrible, but the cig bowls of fries are cheap, and the booze is very strong. Great jugs of sangria for $32 that will get you absolutely set for the evening. I'd only recommend if you're after a boozey night.

Go for the happy hour tacos - you won't regret it! Lovely atmosphere and vego friendly options. It feels eclectic and the staff are really friendly. Definitely a good place to pick if you're looking to start your night out. No surcharge on card either.

Never let down by the amazing food and the wonderful staff. Breakfast burrito and the pancakes are my personal favorites. Additionally, the decor is beautiful, the music is awesome and it's always clean. Definitely check it out

Layed back joint. Bit unique and different, worth a look. Waitress on the night wasn't in a real good mood but was still a good night out. Service can be hit and a miss some nights.
