Woolworths QV reviews
67This is a well appointed Woolworths store right in the city it's probably one of the bigger ones in the area and you are sure to find everything you need. With it's inner city location you can expect to pay a little more than a normal Woolworths in my experience.
This place is busy but it is well stocked, has helpful staff if needed and has many self service checkouts.
Could selection of fruit. No vibe ripened tomatoes. Self service machines was filthy! Pick up your socks woolies!
Notified a staff member that a customer was stealing; they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Then why am I paying for your products if I could just steal it and you'll do nothing? !?
Great place to shop, where you can find nearly all your daily needs. The down side is that there is no free parking here. And I don't know why, but their French loaf is not as tasty as usual, which is a shame.
Wall to wall students living off and in their parents investments, clogging up every thoroughfare with aimless meandering, seemingly with nothing to do and all day to do it. Don't even think about being in a rush here.
DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BELINDA
Came in store on 27/09/18 around 11.30AM and had an extremely unpleasant experience with this overweight, old-looking lady by the name of Belinda (supposedly assistant manager). An item I bought a few days ago was scanned at a price higher than the advertised shelf price. However when I came back to discuss this, she refused to refund me and kept saying stuff like the item was placed at a wrong place (why does this matter?), my item had a reduced sticker on it (a frozen pack of chicken expiring in 2020 is on reduced in 2018? There was simply none anw) and 'her computer' says the scanned price was correct (isn’t that why the scanned price was wrong in the first place), even after a staff has checked and confirmed the lower shelf price before. Instead of fixing what they did wrong, she made it seem like I made the whole thing up to run away from her responsibility. After she ran out of excuses, she told me she’d refund but reminded me that this is only “out of her good will” and emphasised that I should not have got my money back normally. She did not let me say a single thing, then advised me 'this is the end of our conversation' (her exact words), forcefully pushed the piece of paper to me and abruptly walked away. Extremely rude and unacceptable behaviours for an assistant manager. Remember that I did not have to come back and have this conversation if you guys did not mis-scan my item to start with.
If you guys are unlucky enough to deal with this lady in store, know your rights as a customer and don't let her intimidate you. Simply don’t work in retail if you can’t deal with customers Belinda. Severely deficient in reasoning and communication skills.
Very convenient, open early and close late, many self checkouts, fresh veggies and fruits on shelf (even better than some woolies in surburbs), lots of products are available.staff are nice generally speaking.there are sushi and bento boxes from sushi izu which can purchase with other items and get woolworths rewards points when you pay.one of the best woolies in melbourne
It's a bit annoying that the entrance and exit are in different places, requiring doin a lap of the store to get out.
What happened to the good items that you once bought. Clothing ha's no colour and staff are arrogant
Staffs are very nice. But I have to say that there have no signal if you use Vodafone. If you want to transfer between your cards online you will need to find the signal. It's funny aha. Good news is there has wifi. You can directly connect to it. ;)
Inconsistent service at pay out counters. Some employees offer to put your stuff in your bags while others just put your stuff on the 'tray' when the previous customer's products are still there. Kind of annoying as you don't know where you stand and you feel pressurized to pack your stuff up. Also, the lady at the counter did not include our 'bring your own bag' points and it's only afterwards that we noticed - so too late to rectify that. A long way to go for Woolworths to provide consistent and excellent services to its customers!
Another example of poor customer service training. Firstly, finding someone to help was a problem. When I did find someone, they spoke incoherently then quickly walked off, so I was none the wiser still. Who is responsible for this and how were they employed? And their employees freely smoke in the no smoking area at the entrance.right next to the no smoking sign. Filthy and disrespectful.
Appalling 'fresh' meals, bakery items.compared to quality supermarkets from the UK, (M&S/Waitrose, Tesco/ Sainsburys), Woolworths 'FRESH FOOD"- bakery, and take home 'meals' are dreadful. Take a leaf, Woolies- you have a LONG WAY TO GO before you can impress any of us who have travelled. The fresh fruit /veg/ meat are good - but when oh when are you going to wake up to what a supermarket can really do? !
I stop here often for shopping and lunch at the food court. The location is close to work and my hotel so I end up walking past often, so stopping for last minute needs is convenient.
I always, no matter where in the Country whatever City or Town Woolworths staff, service & supermarkets are Excellent.
This is the best woolworths in the cbd. I wish I lived closer so I could shop here more often. Such an interesting selection of groceries, and so much to choose from.
This Woolworths has everything you need! The staff are friendly, fresh produce, and a huge variety of big brand names.
Unfortunately there’s a pesky security guard (Latino, wears a white polo) who insists on checking my full trolley every time i shop. Despite having no claims or explanations and never finding any stolen goods, he’ll always pull me aside and humiliate me. I think this guy needs some customer service training as he’s really letting down the team
Very crowded almost all the time but I guess that can't be helped given the central location of a major grocery store. Convenient and very large (especially compared to Coles in Melbourne Central) and well-stocked
Rotten, everything I wanted in the way of food, they were out of stock. So I eneded up with a small watermelon and chips. RE stock daily
