Woolworths QV reviews
67I’ve lived a block away from this store since it opened and the quality of the management has gone down dramatically - there is often no staffed check out available even for people with disabilities and staff refuse to assist. Relying solely on self check out for people with disabilities isn’t just a bad idea - it’s also illegal. Let’s be very clear - Woolworths QV is acting illegally and I look forward to them being raked over the coles (pun intended) at the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission.
I always use the self check out machines towards the exit. This morning, Sat 9 December, as I walked towards the machine near the exit, not realising it was closed (because it should be open) one of your females workers yelled at me EXCUSE ME SİR YOU NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR İTEMS as if I was going to shoplift ONE orange and ONE pear that I was openly holding in my hands.
You need to teach your staff to mind their own business and have some basic manners.
You can't open self-serve check out machines just to save a few extra bucks from labour wages and treat your customers like thieves for trying to use them. As a company you need to do better
It would be nice if security did not automatically assume you are a thief based off stereotypes. Security seem to select certain people whilst allowing others to leave the store unobstructed. Staff seem unable to read the receipt they have aggressively demanded from you and act in an overly hostile manner towards paying customers.
A very large branch (especially considering it's in the CBD!) with plenty of stock and options. Reasonably well laid out and plenty of self checkout aisles ensuring no long queues. Can get quite crowded though and if you enter QV from the wrong entrance can take quite a while to find it. Parking can be tricky in this area.
Huge range of products. Lots of self-serve check-out kiosks. Slightly confusing layout of the store, but no issue for regular shoppers.
Quality of the fresh food going down in the past few months. Found rotten lemons, pears that looks fine outside and off inside. Slimy spinach. Considering how much you pay for the fresh fruit and veggies is Def a rip off
Clean, well organised
Many self service checkouts
Good transport options and lots of parking in QV
Very good selection, able to get most of everything you need from convenient location. Staff should get raises this place gets very busy at certain times.
Parking available (paid), reasonable size shop, few things will cost 10-30 cent more, clean shop, large self checkout area.
Big well stocked supermarket with good deals knowledgeable and helpful staff and excellent deals.
Pleasant, efficient staff. Excellent cheese selection. Good deli produce. Specials always excellent value.
Call prices are very good customer service nice big selection of everything stuff very helpful only issue is the parking
I've had a lot of good times in this store over the last thirteen years, and I have only ever had problems with one of the staff here, so I would give it a five, but lately I've witnessed a few things that are disturbing. For example today I saw a bag of mouldy oranges in the fruit section, about a week ago a mouse ran from the bakery into the fruit section and nearly tripped me over and today my daughter told me she saw a bird fly into the hot bread section. In other words, there's some pretty serious health and safety issues here. I don't know how a supermarket can deal with having a bakery- maybe having one is attracting animals and that's something they need to look at but I just hope management can address this issue as I really like having the opportunity to go to a fully stocked supermarket in the city. I have nothing against the staff and I think it's a shame that the store has come to this as it can be so much more.
This is probably the busiest Woolies right in the heart of Melbourne CBD I've been to and the staff still manage to be reasonably friendly.
This is one of the largest supermarkets in the CBD. It's perfectly located, on the corner of Lonsdale and Swanston Streets, and very convenient for supermarket shopping within the CBD.
While smaller than your typical suburban Woolworths, it carries the full range of products; all your typical food and vegetables, frozen goods, bread, milk and beveridges, groceries, sweets and detergents, and it even has an international food section. It also has a deli and a bakery. It's well laid out with plenty of room in most isles.
This supermarket is very convenient for city dwellers but because of the number of tourists as well as residents now living within the CBD, it does get busy, especially around 5pm and it is for this reason that it has a very large self serve section for faster checkout.
It's open 7 days per week from 7am to 11pm. The weekly specials are great and worth checking out! As well having great public transport access, there's free parking for woolies customers spending over $30.
Tip, if you need to rush into the city for a reasonably short visit, then do a small amount of shopping at woolies and avoid the hassle of having to find a cheap parking place or worse still, those horrific CBD parking fines. Park for free and take home $30 worth of groceries!
Best supermarket in the cbd compared to coles Central oh Goodness. Lots of varieties and unexpected products there.
Good prices, good layout, clean, always nice sales and I think it nets Coles and definitely bets s* Aldi.
Amazing for meat, fish and chicken too!
Biggest Woolworths in the center of the city, what makes the place stand out is the Big W opposite to it.
Wow.
In winter, there's going to be no place like "QV"!
And if your up to the ever tiresome, mundane task of food shopping, then queen VICTORIA is happy to oblige! Just don't expect parking or any cheap park anywhere near.it is the CBD. Woolies on ground floor! You have great produce of fresh and other extras so can you get us some parking?
In and around the CBD vicinity the ideal food shopping plaza would be here.perks included like;Toilets just an escalation ride above.
Just don't wander too much as you may go home without any cash left!
Quite a busy supermarket but is for sure the go to supermarket within the city. Being the biggest, has a good offering of goods.
