Five stars for Chara, she is an outstanding project manager. She promptly solves any reasonable issues or questions I have regarding the house.

Extremely disappointed is not even close to how I’m feeling regarding this Builder (Westurban) and not alone in my opinions and negative feedback.
Being part of a 12 townhouse development in Greensborough I can honestly say the building standards and approach to their business is nothing other than appalling.
Absolutely horrendous communication skills at all levels of the business from the building Site supervisor Dinusha through to the project manager Lalindak and further up the line to the CPA Shelly.
Zero communication skills which are now leading us to pursue Legal action to get items rectified that they have even acknowledged yet still nothing. Absent minded and lack of care is being nice when I say this company does not follow building codes and regulations that has also now led us down the path of an ongoing VBA and ESV case against Westurban.
I have had site meetings to eventually get a response accepting major faults and defects but still no action.
From Sewer to Electrical to Stormwater to something as simple as paint this company has no standards.
Garage doors don’t fit.
Replace wrought iron handrails as per the plan with Bunnings pool fencing.
No sewer IO points in front of 3 townhouses creating major issues with fixing sewer blockages.
Retaining walls leaning up to 60mm of plum coming forward.
Major Paint issues.
Sewer blockages ongoing.
Driveway not even fit for use and currently not capable of getting trucks or vehicles up due to not following plans and RL levels.
The list just goes on please see some attached photos to support my frustrations.
Please be very careful using this building company or be at high risk of issues and lack of support. I have 11 other home owners feeling extremely frustrated and dissatisfied.
The only Reviews regarding Westurban that are positive are the businesses that are currently on the books.
6 months after settlement and we have 12 very frustrated owners that get nothing but hot air from Shelly and her Company Westurban.
This review is Factual and if any individual is looking for a genuine look into the quality of this companies building standards and customer service do not hesitate to do a door knock at St Helena Rise estate.
Clearly something very wrong internally at Westurban but the age old saying that a Fish rots from the head down could well be the case in this business.

Nice to see others posting their bad experience with West Urban when we posted our experience 3 years ago they sent us a legal letter forcing us to take it down. They are useless. Terrible customer service especially from Shelly. Their homes are cheap and nasty. Stay clear pay the extra money and go to a reputable builder with qualified trades. Waiting for their reply.

I have been cooperation with Westurban for almost 10 years, looking back to my first project since 2013 to now, even amidst the challenging of Covid pandemic, they have continued to maintain their enthusiastic service attitude, a professional team, and a proactive approach to problem-solving on site difficulty. It seems to me that staying true to their original commitment in the construction industry, especially in such a demanding environment, is truly commendable. I highly recommend Westurban as your top choice for your builder company.

Shout out to my client project manager Chara Huang who helped throughout my journey in building my home. I’d like to begin this reviews by saying Westurban is really lucky to have someone like Chara. This project has encountered unlimited issues with site condition and drawings discrepency but Chara has proven to tirelessly work with us and brainstorm alternatives to achieve project completion.

I have engaged Westurban to build my 2 units development project and the houses were finally handed over to me. It was not easy for all of us as the project started in the middle of the pandemic. Westurban did a good job completing the house and the workmanship was above my expectation. Special thanks to Chara Huang who handled the project professionally from the beginning until the end, and tended to all my queries and concerns. Also thanks to Justin who help pushed through the last leg of the project! I can finally relax now and enjoy my stay in my new house .

I am very happy with our new house. We managed to build our house in 6 months (from building permit to handover) during one of the most challenging periods for the building industry. Construction process was relatively smooth (considering the overall challenges facing the building industry) and post handover support is excellent. Very happy with how our new home has come up. Wayne, Ganesh and Chara were excellent throughout the build process. Thanks to the WUC team.

I would highly recommend WestUrban. They designed and built my dream home to my expectations. The project manager, Chara communicated with me in a professional manner and was always responsive to my emails. She ensured the project was progressing smoothly, and she could always be relied upon to resolve any issues. Likewise, the site supervisor, Rejith was easy to work with and he could be relied upon to rectify any defects during each stage of the build.

Our project manager Lin is very responsive in addressing our queries during the construction process. The team works hard to deliver despite disruption due to COVID. Very professional.

I don't normally give a bad review, but our experience is just too frustrating.

We built two units with West Urban in 2019. The true test of a builder comes when the build has finished and you identified some defects that needed to be fixed, and in this case WestUrban has failed us. WestUrban maintenance is some of the worst that we have to deal with. Maintenance is not attended for months.

We keep on emailing, calling, texting, left voice mail to site supervisor, but there is no call back, no replies. Project manager tried to help us, but they have no control over the maintenance team and site supervisor.

When maintenance do finally get attended, little fixes are made and arranging one tradie takes months, so the job never gets done. The level of professionalism is simply appalling. The process is highly ineffective and wasted so much time waiting. We lodged a bathroom leak defect in Jan and now it's May, still not fixed yet.

We don't believe all site supervisors are bad, but the silent treatment that we get from our site supervisor is simply frustrating. Site supervisor said someone will come, so we waited, but noone came. Surely this is just unprofessional?

She was extremely helpful to design the project to build two houses in our land when we told her about our needs at the beginning.

We had met with a few other builders as we were looking to build three townhouses. From the moment we met with Westurban we felt at ease with their level of knowledge and professionalism.
King, Lin and Wayne have been a pleasure to deal with and have made it easy for us to do our first development. They have also been efficient in dealing with any queries even after handover.
Our experience has been nothing but positive and would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them for future developments.

DO NOT USE! Was the builder for an off-plan apartment and over 3+ years made no attempt to start construction. Extremely difficult to get a response from and any updates provided were basically a fob off. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I bought a house brand new was built by Westurban, it is two years old, and my house got water leaking twice a year since I bought it. As it is still under building warranty so I contact the maintenance team, however they are very slow on solving issue. When they received my request, if I don’t chase them, they won’t even response (I feel like they tried to ignore my request). And if they say yes they will send someone come and fix, it will take weeks for them to come, they says they have other urgent issue to attend first, so my water leaking is not urgent? Then they completely forgot us, even we email to push them many times.

Water leaking is the most serious issue, it has been happning time to time, that mean their building quality is very poor, Would you want to buy a house that have leaking issue?

I had three units development by WestUrban Group in 2020-2021 and worked with Felix and Gordon. They are very professional and provided top service. Felix has been very responsive and patient to our questions. It was a great pleasure to work with them. Highly recommend.
