Great local place down the road. The food and service has been consistently excellent since I first started coming here 4 years ago.

I went to West 48 for breakfast and ordered the Mushroom Stack. The background music, unique military-style cutlery holder and dog-friendliness created a great ambience to come into.

They have a great menu, which made it hard to choose a dish, but the Mushroom Stack was more than I expected. A generous portion and a nice mix of flavours that made a delicious combination!

Great local place to eat if you're from the inner West. Delicious selection of food and drink. We expected serving size to be bigger but we didn't leave hungry. Can be busy on the weekends so recommend booking a table, especially if you're bringing your dog for an outdoor seat.

First brunch after lockdown, I had their Eggs Bennie, it was so delicious. Their coffee was nice too (if you like regular flat white with double shot). There is no doubt that they are definitely one the best cafes in Footscray.

Consistently great food, atmosphere and service! Our favourite local spot.

Dog friendly, excellent wait staff (friendly and attentive but without being overbearing, a hard balance to strike!). We have brought several people here now and will continue to do so as everyone raves about it after we take them.

Not worth it
The service Is very slow and the staff are never friendly. I ordered food and it was cold and had a hair in it.the coffee is average too.

Absolutely stunning 3 Cheese Mushroom toastie, what an unexpected knock-out delight during lockdown. Great coffee to boot. Definitely recommend coming here.

5 of us came for breakfast and was thoroughly enjoyed. Only complaint was the brisket dish was a little small. Other than that great food, generous services. Great service. And most importantly great coffee

A cafe that’s got it so right. By far my fav cafe in Melbourne. The staff are always so warm, welcoming and attentive, the vibe is relaxed, the food is next level good and the coffee is always so perfect. Keep up the great work guys

Do yourself a favour and get here, their kransky is a delicious, innovative and delicious meal! I would have a photo but the two consecutive days were been here to get it we’ve eaten it too fast! Will try next time! Staff are friendly and coffee delicious!

This popular local cafe was our saving grace during all of our Melbourne lockdowns, providing the best coffees, food and service in the area. We were so happy to be able to dine in, and when we saw their menu it was actually such a tough decision as we easily could have closed our eyes and picked anything. I ended up shockingly () ordering a chilli scrambled with my partner opting for the Kransky. Both dishes blew our minds and we cannot wait to eventually tick off every item on their creative menu.

Don't order off UberEats literal scam.

$21 for a "main" with a portion size fit for a toddler.

Paid an extra $1 for a coffee to be medium questioning what the definition of small is now.

I get it, you have to accommodate for additional costs associated with food delivery apps. That's why I didn't mind paying the overpriced fee for the food. But when it comes in a state of Stalingrad portions I really question the true intent.

Food tastes ok, just bad business practices.

Shocking service from the staff. My wife waited 30 minutes for a simple chai latte. No apology, zero hospitality. Couldn’t be bothered attitude from the staff. 0% chance of coming back.

What an awesome cafe literally in the middle of the burbs! We had a wonderful brunch here. Food was beautiful and prana chai was perfectly made. Keep up the great hospitality guys:)

Food is really good. Coffee could be better. Small and cosey location. Clean and fast service. Reasonable prices. Definitely a place to check out.

First time here and lucky to get a table at 11am. Ordered the chilli eggs which I have at other places and wasn't my favorite, whilst it wasn't hot, everything was chilli and the dish lacked freshness, eggs had chilli, chilli oil was used, looked to be garnished with some sort of dry chilli and the Sajuk (spicy meat) on the side was terrible, to me had a tofu texture.
If I come again will just stick with bacon and eggs and I don't understand a breakfast venue that doesn't offer a sausage as a side, considering they offer wilted spinach and kale etc.

Awesome place, vibe and food. I would give it five stars however portions are small - which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The food is delish and of high calibre!
