When you are getting married you want a celebrant that ‘gets you’, adjusts their style to your style, makes you feel comfortable from the very first moment of meeting them (even via zoom - thanks Covid) and just generally is bloody AMAZING at all things weddings. Well, that is Wendy. If you want the best wedding celebrant to ever walk the earth - she is your lady. We just bloody love her. So many of our wedding guests asked if we knew her, or how long we’d been friends - I think that’s a pretty good sign of an amazing wedding celebrant. We were keen for our wedding to be light and full of laughter and personal to us without being overly sappy. Wendy achieved this all with ease. She ran us through every element of the ceremony so we knew exactly what to expect. Her hugs before walking down the isle definitely calmed the nerves too.

Wendy has this incredible warmth about her that you can feel from the get go! She was the only celebrant we met with & there was no question she was it!

As an LGBTQIA+ couple, it was super important for us to find someone who was accepting and made us feel totally at ease every step of the way, which is Wendy to a “T”. Wendy was also extremely flexible, accommodating and understanding when we had to reschedule multiple times due to Covid and on those days, she was the first to message us to check in and see how we were feeling.

In the lead up to the wedding, Wendy really took the time to get to know us and made sure that our ceremony reflected who we are as a couple. Every guest we have spoken to tells us that our Ceremony was the best they have witnessed – it had them laughing, crying and cheering for joy. We are so thankful that our paths crossed with Wendy – not only will we forever cherish the special moments and ceremony that Wendy created for us, we will also enjoy staying in touch and having someone that will avidly follow the tales of our “Married Life” on the Gram (liking my Dad jokes and Puns from time to time). We knew Wendy was the Celebrant for us after our first zoom meeting! Wendy communicated with us all the way up to our wedding day and not only told our love story perfectly but also helped calmed our nerves on the day.

Wendy was an amazing celebrant, she was patient given the postponements due to COVID, but made sure she kept in touch to see how we were going. Her planning was exceptional without being over the top and making planning a wedding harder than it needed to be. On the day she was early and ready to go putting my nerves at ease before my beautiful bride walked town the isle.she wrote and conducted a beautiful, light hearted and relaxed ceremony like we wanted, where we could all have a laugh and just enjoy the day. Where do I even begin? ! Wendy is amazing! From the very first meeting we had with Wendy we knew that she was the one to marry us. Wendy made us feel so comfortable right from the very beginning and answered our million and one questions we had. Throughout all of the planning and in the lead up to our wedding I knew that Wendy was just a message away with helpful advice and supportive words. After our wedding was cancelled the first time Wendy was super flexible and supportive whilst we rescheduled to our new date. Then when the second date got cancelled and we scaled down to a tiny ceremony on our rooftop she adjusted the ceremony to match the vibes. I can't recommend Wendy enough - I feel like I have not only had the most awesome person marry us but a life long friend! Thanks so much Wendy!

We knew from the moment we first ‘met’ (aka zoomed) Wendy that she was going to be our wedding celebrant! Wendy was amazing and we were so privileged to have her on our wedding day. She was respectful of the type of ceremony we wanted (i.e. A short one), and was wonderful at tailoring her approach to meet our needs. Wendy was professional and organised, a great help getting the more formal aspects of the wedding sorted. But most importantly, she was super fun, lively and a really good sport!:) We had a movie theme to our wedding, and Wendy was very supportive of this, even willing to start our ceremony with a spot-on impression of the ‘impressive clergyman’ from The Princess Bride (“Mawage’)! We and our guest loved it, thanks Wendy! X

Wendy, what can I say about this wonderfully talented woman? ! I had the delight of meeting Wendy 11yrs ago when she taught/mentored me through my Tourism course in 2010. I was only 19yrs old but I responded so well to her teaching style and began my 10yr career in tourism post graduation. Fast forward a whole lot of love, babies and career changes (on both accounts), the moment Matt and I got engaged, Wendy was the first person on my list to contact for availability. With the year we saw in 2020 I knew her dates would be limited but we were willing to take any date she had knowing we were after a Friday and our plan was an indoor venue so season wasn't an issue. 30th of July 2021 was selected and then it was off to the venue next to find and lock them both in. Planning was quite simple from then with Wendy communicating wonderfully until we hit May and lockdown 4 came about, we got through it with some anxious sleepless nights but things started to look positive and then with 15 days out we were in lockdown 5. The stress, worry and obsession with daily case numbers caused some really horrible moments but there Wendy was by my side (cyber) mentoring me through this crazy life we live in. Whilst I'm aware how hard the wedding industry is being hit, Wendy was still so professional in getting me through those hard moments. Then a miracle happened and the Vic govt allowed 50 people at weddings which suited us perfectly. In 72hrs we confirmed everything that had taken months to plan and Wendy's bubbly self was there to answer any questions we had. Wedding day came and there Wendy was in the flesh (finally) coordinating us and our guests. The ceremony was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better casual, light hearted ceremony and it all came down to Wendy! Our guests raved about how wonderful she was and even the venue owners had tears in their eyes. We could not rate Wendy high enough, she is exactly what you are looking for and I guarantee you will not regret it. ️

Wendy was our celebrant for our wedding that happened just on the pop of lock down 4.0 in Melbourne! Literally the day we got married we went into lockdown at midnight and Wendy couldn’t have been more of a calming presence on what was a really stressful start to our wedding day as we waited to hear whether our day was to go ahead or not! Wendy is so warm & calming and put us at ease from our very first FaceTime. We both wanted a relaxed, not too serious ceremony which Wendy delivered on 100% full of laughs, happiness & felt so unique & special to us. We never thought we would be able to write our own vows but Wendy guided us through it and made it such a fun thing to do and we are both so happy we were pushed (in the nicest, most polite way, ha) to do it! I will be telling any bride I come across to book you Wendy as you are an absolutely lovely person who won not only us but our guests over in what so many said to us afterwards was such a beautiful & importantly non boring ceremony ha thank you once again for everything and for all the support while trying to plan a wedding through this crazy world we’re in at the minute! Wendy is our wedding angel! We would wholeheartedly recommend Wendy to everyone searching for a marriage celebrant, she without a doubt is one in a million. From the first contact Wendy was professional, enthusiastic and reassuring. We felt incredibly supported in the lead up to our marriage, no question was too small or too 'silly', Wendy answered them all with detail and patience. Wendy was the first vendor we booked after securing our venue and it just felt oh so right from the very beginning. She makes your day relaxed, so much fun and YOU! Your guests will also fall in love with her as she makes them feel comfortable - and willing to have a giggle with them.

For anyone wondering if Wendy should be your celebrant, my advice is to trust your gut, sit down and get to understand each other and what you want from a celebrant. If you're after someone who will be committed to you and representing the love you have for your partner and your journey together then Wendy is for you.
My partner and I got married in January 2021 after having to delay our wedding due to Covid, and despite everything that happened and the shuffle around with all our times, dates and locations Wendy was more than supportive of us at every step, so willing to be flexible, whether is meant having meetings via zoom instead of in person, or being patient whilst we were in limbo or just being that friendly face to talk to when we needed some advice.

Come along to our big day and everything regarding our ceremony and Wendy's involvement went down smoothly, even the rain didn't stop anything. The words she used to present our relationship journey and to portray our love were beautiful, she spoke clearly and was very receptive of our emotions and desires.
She to our request enabled a little bit of humour to come into the reception which we loved and created an experience we will never forget.

Right from our first meeting, being so flexible through a delayed wedding due to covid, she is so involved, supportive and super excited. She made the process so much fun and we couldn’t have trusted anyone else to do such an amazing job telling our story. Her smile is totally infectious and made us both feel so at ease. The whole ceremony was so touching, fun, and light hearted. She totally nailed it - our ceremony was absolutely perfect. We could not have enjoyed ourselves anymore! So many of our guests commented that it was the best ceremony they have been to and that she helped to set the vibe of the whole day. Which is an epic compliment and SO true:)
