Loved the crispy yam dumpling (wu kok), siumai, crispy prawn dumpling and the lotus+salted egg yolk bun. So good!

Service was good and staff were friendly, atmosphere is great as well!

Food ordered, chicken dry but noodles fresh. Overall good sized meals lack of sauce leaves the dishes slightly tasteless. Waiting staff attentive to the extent of constant hovering.

This plc used to be our favorite eatery. Its tired, the decor is old & work out it needs good clean and $ spent on it. The yum cha was cold & taste less.

Had Yum Cha and was overcharged on my bill in several parts.

Their correct, re-confirmed, costs are:

Standard 6.20 each
Super 7.90 each
Deluxe 8.90 each
Special 9.90 each
Tea 2.00 each

See upload of invoice #9344 and how this was done:

Incorrect charges:
1. Total charge. Does not match individual line items
2. Super. Charged 8.90 (not 7.90)
3. Tea. They charged 4.40, (not 2.00 each)
Overcharged by almost $10.

Honest mistake? Occurring on 3 parts of the invoice?

When I returned to front this, he was refunding another unhappy customer who was also overcharged.

Smiley fellow manning the till. At least he could still manage to ask us to ‘Come again’. How nice.

The food was very fresh prepared well and presentation great. Slightly expensive, but worth it. Table spacious and restaurant very presentable.

Good food, big portions and friendly and competent service. Three of us had a main course each but two mains between three would have been plenty. Very little choice of wines, better to bring your own if that is what you want.

Overall the food isn’t too bad. The dessert is really good because it’s not overly sweet. Pretty friendly service. Ordered around 12 dishes and ended up costing $122 which I thought was a tad expensive for 2 adults and 2 kids. Probably because we were really hunger. Overall not bad.

First of all let me say that i don't normally give bad reviews and we did have a group of 15 so this may not be the case for a couple. Disappointed that we had 2 separate round tables, the head waiter seemed stressed and not coping well with the amount of us (yes we were well behaved) he didn't want us to order separate meals because "the kitchen will probably mess it up" so we gave him our preferences. The entrees came out no probs but we had to eventually ask after over an hour where our meals were. Customers were coming and going while we sat waiting, they definitely don't deal with groups. 1 plate came onto our table by itself then after a couple of minutes the rest arrived. Overall it was a pretty average experience (we all wished that we went to a pub instead.) The parking is pretty confusing too. I must say that the food wasn't bad albeit a bit overpriced (hence the one star)

Friendly to advise that never order fish there or any fresh seafood! It is crazily expensive. Roast duck is nice though

Under new management. Old staff are dearly missed. Waited 2 hours for all the food to arrive. Was looking forward to my regular dish- only to be disappointed with a plethora of bones instead of chicken. Good food otherwise, a bit pricey for some. Remember to book for larger groups on busier nights.

Good food but pricey and service could have been better. A meal for five adults and a toddler came out to be $250 with byo drinks. This comprised of a total of eight dishes plus rice which puts it at just about $30 per dish which is definitely on the high side for equivalent Chinese restaurants. Normally we'd expect to pay around $22-$26 per dish. Serving sizes were reasonable and the food was fresh, quick to arrive after ordering. A let down was the service at the start where the main waiter kept asking us to wait whilst taking our order so he could answer the phone. This happened around 3 times. He also was the only waiter taking orders and showing people to their tables so he also made us wait whilst he showed four other groups to their table. This is the first time I've experienced something like this and I thought it was rude to say the least. He was apologetic nonetheless and was friendly.
We enjoyed the food and also enjoyed the complementary soup for entree as well as the complementary fruits and bean curd dessert at the end of our meal. This was definitely a bonus as most similar Chinese restaurants only offer either a soup or dessert complementary. Would we go back? Yes, I'd say we would given that it is our local Chinese restaurant and the food was generally good and tasty. Pricing was on the high side but for convenience it's probably something we'd just accept.
