Waverley General Practice

The team at Waverley General Practice have been my family Dr’s for well over 10 years. They’re always helpful and extremely caring, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Have been a client since WGP first existed and have always been exceptionally happy with the service, wonderful Doctors that are knowledgeable and empathetic.

Dr Singh is a wonderful GP who takes the time to explain things properly and aligns my treatment plans with my goals and not necessarily what some poorly reviewed article based on sloppy science might recommend.

July 2021 I continue to attend this clinic. I continue to be very happy with the knowledge, care and professionalism of the doctors and staff who work here.

(Previous review) I have been attending this clinic for several years, and am always made to feel welcome. Even if the receptionists are very busy, they are always friendly, pleasant, patient and polite, whether on the phone or face to face.

I am really happy with the care and knowledge provided by my GP here. If for some reason I have needed to see a different doctor at the clinic, I have found the same care and professionalism as provided by my regular doctor.

A busy, well run clinic. Like any GP practice, some appointments can take a little longer than anticipated, but that says more about the care and attention from the Drs. The online booking system is great for busy people.

Terrible experience with psychologist Marlies Alvarenga. I went there to get some counselling on stress management, but received a lecture on how god does not exist and women are more competent than men. Not to mention her opinion that certain races are 'superior in intelligence' to others. How is somebody like this qualified?

Been going here for 20+ years and have never had an issue. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all ages. The receptionists are lovely. All the doctors genuinely care about their patients. Would highly recommend.

Great clinic, I see Dr Wendy Barton and she’s fabulous. Really down to earth and so lovely! The clinic is well run, although at times be prepared to wait past your appointment time but that is because each patient is getting quality attention. Whilst part of the cost isn’t bulk billed it’s well worth it to see a professional and knowledgeable doctor.

Dear Practice Manager, some of your receptionists need attention seriously. The most recent encounter, a relatively young long hair darker skin girl. I know you are at the end of your shift, but if you not interested to serve any more customers then don’t sit at the reception. The doctors are great but the receptionists are so impatience, no sympathy and rude. You make the patient more worry and few occasions I feel like I have to be sorry that I’m sick after talking to them. Please be in mind, you run a clinic, not a retail store. Please upgrade your receptionists and working attitude.

Have been here over last 4 year and only recent months having these issue.

Always running late! Always forgive them because I felt I had good care. But today I checked in.waited 45 minutes. When I went back to the counter to check why Dr was running so late - the receptionist said she FORGOT to check me in! And then had the nerve to tell me "well there is nothing I can do about it now"!

I love the stag I've been following my doctor from one practice to another so glad he's got his own one now. Staff are the best

Doctors are great.
However, they have employed some of the rudest most ignorent unhelpful receptionists, there are two in particular one an elderly lady and another that works on the weekend.
The manager of this suite needs to review their performance

My husband and I have been using this practice & some senior Drs for the past 15 years. We have found their care & concern very professional. There have been a couple of negative reviews which shocked us. Patients have to realise that the Drs in this practice try to help their patients to resolve their issues & there are times when the appointments go beyond 'standard appointment'. They do not churn out patients like other practices do. If you have an emergency speak kindly to the reception staff & they will refer you to another doctor.

Only go there when Dr. Barton is there!
I took my 3 year old son to the practice on an emergency and unfortunately Dr. Barton was on leave. On waited there more than an hour with a vomittinh kid. When I complained one of the doctor said if you complain, I won't see your son!

Best clinic in my neighborhood. Very professional and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and the office is stunning and clean <3

The place would close before it's supposed to (went there on Saturday 2PM to find its doors shut and lights off, with a sign out the front saying it would close at 3PM).

Oh and the receptionists can do with less attitude.

I see Dr Wendy Barton there. She is very thorough, accommodating always spends adequate time with you she even likes to get a quick cuddle with my baby daughter when we first go in her room) The whole clinic is very run well and great reception staff and nurses too. All very helpful, friendly and patient.
