Warburton Holiday Park reviews
74 A nice park with modern camp kitchen, electric BBQ good seating inside and out
Close to town and the Warburton Water park is next door
Some camp sites back to the river
Nice park, plenty of space, some upgrades to toilets.
River at the back of some sites.
Close to town
Warburton holiday Park was a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The park was very clean, amenities were always checked and cleaned, waterpark is within walking distance beautiful walking tracks, bmx track and laying on a lilo down the river. We will be back.
Perfect little cabin right by the river. Fantastic place for our daughters first holiday being close to parks, providing her with plenty of entertainment. Can’t wait to go back!
Great rafting and facilities.
Love coming to this place many times throughout the year. Customer service team are always lovely and very helpful.
The new additional of the food truck on site is a great addition.
Beautiful location and fantastic clean amenities. Simon and the team maje you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.
A great family friendly park. Regular visitor but missed a few in the pandemic so glad to see the place again.
Kids - heaps to do with river access for fishing or floatation, the new water park is a fantastic feature, bike riding tracks and out of fire danger - opportunities for some bush cooking.
Pets - didn't bring them along this time and pretty confident they are still grouchy at us. Pet friendly and heaps of space nearby and within for exercise etc.
Sites - every site we've stayed on has been generous in size and easily level enough to set a van, camper, tent or swag.
Amenities - haven't used the cooking/kitchen facilities but know they exist. Toilets showers are fantastic. Regular cleaning at what we found to be convenient timings. The park can't stop guests from being pigs though - clean up after yourself.including skiddies please.
Location - set beneath large forrest hills right on the Yarra.need I say more. Plenty of native birds, short walk to shops in Warburton.
Word of warning - very low tolerance for loud music of an evening and absolutely no music after 10: 00 pm. Security staff are courteous enough but very serious on noise. Bike riding after dark is also frowned upon and they will send the kids back to camp if caught. Kids are also sent back from the playground at 10: 00 pm. Didn't phase us - but worth letting peeps know.
Overall - a fantastic, relaxing park in a great location. Props to all the team at the park for managing/maintaining to a high standard.see you in June
Wow unsafe powered site kept tripping owner did come out provide us with an extension to a safe point which worked. However on the way out he says I think it’s still your van. I said no just been serviced we used it 3 days prior. Apart from that his whole electrical point was not secure and dangerous. He then proceeds to insult our new van saying well it is a Jayco. How rude I don’t pay or come here to be insulted. Apart from that all the cabins you rent a jayco you clown. So there for don’t stay here.
Clean cabin with good amenities. Beautiful location along the river. Relaxing way to spend some time away from home.
Wow, this place has changed so much. It was our basic "go to" place to camp. Not too far, but far enough. Facilities were acceptable, but basic. But now, again, wow! Lovely new toilets and showers, the place has increased in size and is well layed out. We're already planning our next trip. Thanks WHP
Staff including security friendly. Free use of a fire drum on site a bonus. River nice. Bathrooms clean during the mornings but caked in mud by afternoon thanks to kids, and noise one night till 11pm from a large group a bit over the top, especially since the kids were primary school aged. Site was spacious and clean.
What a location, right on river, next to great size kids playground and Warburton water park. Close to town and aminities are neat and tidy. Every attraction near by including summit, lala falls, Redwood forest, forest gallary.
Customer service is greay
Unfortunately we visited during winter so water was off but what an amazing park.
Great selection of play areas for all ages
Will visit again during the warmer months to let kids have some water play
Loved the place, clean amenities, awesome location, I think even caught myself a trout in the stream behind
Great place to camp, right near the Yarra River, the most cleanest toilets and showers I have seen, coded entry, will go again.
Lovely spot right on the river, so many beautiful walking tracks all around the park. Terrific places to visit close by.
Visiting family members for the day, the grounds are lovely, there's plenty of visitor parking and the public toilets are very good.
We stay here tonight and no hot water in the shower, we pay for room $ 198 for 3 people but no hot water Very bad.
Less than an hour drive from Mel eastern suburbs. Great place for rejuvenate your body mind and soul by doing camping here. On site facilities I.e kitchen, bathroom, toilet, parking are very neat and tidy. Decided to go every year for camping. Make sure to do advance booking in summer weekends.
Absolutely the best caravan park we’ve stayed in!
Beautiful tall trees edged grounds with a River babbling through, varied bird life, and easy easy walking distance from pub/cafe and supermarket.
Facilities are amazing, clean and unlocked (without the usual stress of racing to the toilet and forgetting a ridiculous pin code).
Loved our time here and will definitely return some time soon.
