Warburton Holiday Park reviews
74We had great time in Warburton holiday park in early December this year! Great location and good size of the unpowered campsite. Even though it was a terrible rainy weekend with thunderstorms but we enjoyed a lot especially the trails to the city and the forest. The amenities are clean all the time. The food truck near reception provides nice and delicious breakie if you don’t want to cook before check-out. Would love to come back again!
Breathtaking spot camping by the river side. Amenities were new and clean. We walked into the township everyday, didnt even know there were about a dozen beautiful redwoods along the river trail on the walk back which was a real treat as the road to the Redwood forest was still closed. (Apparently, this opens around xmas 2023, and good news they will be building toilets) The folk at the tourist information centre were lovely and very informative. Warburton is a must visit
Pretty and nice for tent camping. Only us one tent and another two caravan, could because of the winter, very quiet and nice view aside the river. Our site is 33, found 26 is a better place. There is no block in front of the river so you can see the river directly. There is a beautiful maple tree beside 26 site. Will book it next time. Also can borrow the fire pit for free and powered available. Recommend to people who want to come during winter!
Clean well equipped camp kitchen. Amenities block clean. Sensor lights in amenities block turn off after 90 seconds of entering the shower recesses. This, plus the fact that the shower door leaked water, raises a serious safety issue as one attempts to exit the showers in the dark.
The local information centre and Warburton's Google add both state that Wifi is available at the park, which is incorrect.
Nice location alongside the river with plenty of bushwalks available.
Stay for 2 nights next to the river on a powered site (camping) from May 26th to 28th. A fantastic park with all the amenities being in excellent condition. Being able to bring my dog and to have an open fire make the park even better. Highly recommend
The caretaker/owner who drives around in the Landcruiser Ute could lighten up and be less confrontational.
Other than that, excellent caravan park, well priced, great facilities, location…
It's such a great holiday park, wonderful facilities, kept clean and very accessible. Kids had a ball! Customer service was fantastic. I will definitely be back! In a perfect spot near the river, lots of walking tracks and little town close by if you need anything.
Used powered caravan site- borders on to reasonably busy road and site is grassy. Good and clean amenities and great customer service.
Always a beautiful stay along the river. Dog friendly and love a good campfire at night. Will be back next year
Nice place to stay with our van but the restroom facilities were way too small. Not near enough toilets or showers.
Not too far from Melbourne, easy to get to, clean campsite with firedrum provided. Nice spacious camp site. Now with an added new water park right next to it couldn't ask for a better camping destination.
The only downside is not enough frige and freezer space
Totally amazed by the amazing and serene space nearby Melbourne. The yarra river in the middle has added more flavour to the entire beauty of the area. But Toilet service not good, too dirty toilets.
Great free park for the kids to cool off on a hot day, toilets and showers
Only downside is limited close parking
We stayed for a night on a powered site for a small campervan. It had power and town water taps on site.
Very crowded during holiday season, all very friendly guests.
There were lines clearly sprayed for each site.
We were late to arrive, so we rang ahead and the reception staff were lovely. They happily gave us an after-hours check-in plan.
A huge thank you to Brigid for the most excellent service and help she gave us during our overnight stay. The park is in a beautiful setting beside the meandering river. Brigid helped us with all of our questions about the area and went over and above to meet our specific needs. Highly recommend the stay here.
Well managed park. Ablutions are pristine and regularly cleaned.
Perfect scenery and great location.
Had a great time staying here. 8 of us in 3bdr cabin.convenient location clean well lit amenities.playground bbq facilities.definately would go again. Redwood Forest jyst up the road.
Awesome spot with tons of campsites right on the river, and multiple cabins with river frontage as well. Brilliant for the kids to do a bit of floating down the river in summer. How many spots can you walk from your campsite to the Yarra River and float into town to pick up supplies?
Owners not friendly or accommodating.
Numbers on panels for bathrooms have worn off. Alot of ppl had problems with locks with worn numbers for code.
Very clean and functional cabin with professionally laundered linen and comfortable beds. Friendly service in a beautiful setting. We will definitely be coming back!
