Walkalong Expert Repairs

Was told my bag couldn’t be fixed by other repairers and they fixed mine straight away for the most reasonable price

An airline broke my luggage and I was instructed to visit these guys for repair or replacement of the luggage. I did get a replacement which seemed like a cheap imitation of popular brands. Anyways, long story short, Michael treated us well and handed the luggage on time that he promised. Whether I would go back for repairs of other items or not is a different question. Although I would prefer visiting repair shops at other places for cost aspects.

Fantastic Service
I can't praise Michael enough for his help and ability to go above and beyond in order to help his customers. I travel a lot and the day before I was to leave for Europe on business my Samsonite mobile office handle jammed open. As it was under warranty I contacted the store and they referred me to Walkalong. I explained my situation to Michael and he attempted to fix the handle that afternoon but with no success. On his own initiative he then contacted Samsonite and spoke to his contact Sid to see if they could help. Both Michael and Sid then arranged to transport a new case to Walkalong that evening and met me at the store with a brand new replacement. Both Michael and Sid from Samsonite were fantastic and really provided excellent customer service. I was able to take the replacement bag on my trip the next day. Thankyou Michael and Sid.

Have used these guys on numerous occasions & workmanship always excellent. They recently sourced a rare component of an old case. Now it’s fully functional.

Besides, my shoe repaired by him got broken immediately the first time wearing it.

I travel a lot and my bags get hammered. A truly expert service that I rely on, as do thousands of others. The owner is the supremo that other bag repairers and manufacturers consult on difficult repairs.

Highly expensive, and very long wait to fix the zip on my motorcycle jacket. They didn't even use a proper zip so my jacket scratches the fuel tank. Never going back.

I think this place gets pretty busy so you need to allow them time, and be clear about what you want done.
Michael replaced the Vibram soles on my heavy-duty Zamberlan mountain boots which I mailed from Queensland; a very professional job.
About a three-week turnaround and both Valerie and Michael were courteous and helpful.
