I went to get my luggage repaired and it just needed a screw changed. They charged me 17 dollars for just one screw. I called to complain about the price and their answers was so rude!

Friendly service and was able to accommodate last minute repairs. Advised that my lock broke and was able to repair it on the same day. Reasonable pricing and would revisit for future luggage service/repairs.

Antler warranty repair job. Refused to even send the details to Antler for evaluation, as it would be dishonest. Adamant that I caused the damage due to a couple of very small nicks on the handle. Argued about the warranty period (advertised at 10 years), saying that at 5 years old it wasn’t covered. When I came back to pick up the case (with no repair) Michael gave me a lesson about how the date printed on his card said that I’d committed to pick this up a couple of days prior - despite this never being mentioned and a phone conversation a couple of days prior that I would call in a few days later. Just walking into the place you see how much of a mess it is…

The worst possible customer service! I called and described my issues prior to making the trip to walkalong. Very detailed description of the damage to my suitcase and desire to claim under warranty. The person said yes bring it down. When I arrived I was greeted by an extremely arrogant and unhelpful man who then informs me the at ge will not register for warrant withou proof of purchase. No mention of this on the phone. Wasted trip! When I asked why he did not mention this requirement he got angry and rude. There are better places to have your bags repaired

Michael is a lifesaver! I had ripped off my side latch of samsonite hard case luggage bag. Michael replaced the side latch in just 3 minutes. Amazing work guys! Keep it up

No call back when they tell you they would in 1 hour's time. Expensive for the repairs. Takes too long to find your items

We came in with a suitcase and a broken lock. When they discovered that we had travelled half an hour to the shop for the repair they offered to fix it on the spot so that we didn’t have to come back on another day. They did a great job and the service was fantastic.

Michael and his Team are amazing at Fixing Shoes, Bags, etc. Have been coming here since it was Recommended by a Local Sergeant from Camberwell Police Station back in 2011. WOULD go here FIRST over a Shopping Centre Shop as I am a Loyal Customer when the Service is Excellent and the Job is done Professionally.

Brought the Samsonite case as this was designated repair agency. The lock was busted. Surprised they had the supplier's part in stock. Offered to fix immediately. Was replaced in five minutes. Had three staff working, and a stream of customers going in-and-out.

Michael gave me a quote for the price of fixing my suitcase handle. I accepted it, thinking that it was going to be that price. He fixed my suitcase handle within 10mins. When it's time to pay, he gave me a different quote. It would've been nice if he kept the pricings consistent.

Would NOT recommend. Quotes one price, charges another then completely ignores you. What are you supposed to do? Leave your items and be held to ransom. Don't waste your time or money - go elsewhere.

I brought a jacket in for a repair to a pocket and was asked to pay upfront which I thought was strange but did and received a card with the details on it. When I picked it up I was asked to pay again. I said I'd already paid and he said I would've given you a receipt if you had, but I'd paid cash and thought the card was the proof. The repair work was okay but paying twice? I didn't see that coming, not happy.

I called to ask if they had wheels for my samsonite suitcase. Initially I spoke with a gent who was very helpful. He directed me to send an email with photos to Michael. I did this, and heard nothing. I then called and spoke with Michael, who was belligerent, condescending, argumentative, and showed no interest in my concern. I asked why he had not emailed me back, and his response was “I get 200-300 emails each day”. Well Michael, get your act together, and start organising yourself and your staff, so that you are proactive and helpful, instead of making excuses and blaming others because you can’t get on top of things. I am a professional and work in the healthcare industry, where I know how important it is to be respectful and helpful to others. Never in all my life have I experienced such poor service. After our discussion, I will never purchase Samsonite again. And I certainly will not refer anyone to your store for repairs.

Been to Walkalong multiple times across ten years for bag and shoe repairs. Straightforward, consistently excellent work and clear advice. I confidently recommend them for bag and instrument case repairs. One of only two in Melbourne that I recommend to friends/colleagues; the second is across to the other side of the city.

I highly recommend Michael & his team. I had my RM Williams boots re-soled & they were turned-around in less than 24 hours. Fantastic workmanship & service.
