I had a number of Equestrian boots and chaps repaired by Michael last week. Considering they are very expensive brands and one pair of boots retail for over a $1000 I was told via word of mouth that Michael is an excellent craftsman at these sorts of repairs. I was highly impressed with the craftsmanship. I would definitely recommend Michael who was extremely helpful and my boots were ready for collection in under one week. I will certainly be returning to him again.

Great service and very speedy! Dropped my suitcase off for repair (required a new TSA lock to be installed) at 8.30am and got a text to say it was ready at 1pm the same day. All very easy and efficient. Thank you!

If your looking for rude customer service, untrustworthiness and all around abysmal service walkalong is the place to go. Went there to get our luggages fixed after they were badly damaged post fligth, would have rather kept the broken ones and celltape them oursleves. Two and a half months gone passed no call back after weeks of emails and calls directly to them, consistent excuses of delivery being late. Till magically being informed that luggages are ready and in fact have been ready for a while, once again had to ring them to get that information from them. Best for last, once we get there to to get our suitcases we are told its not there cause they have given to someone else. This place is shocking and absurd.

Took my Daniese motorcycle jacket here to get a new zip put in and done a fantastic job. Done it really quick as I wasn't in any hurry but still did it within a week. Excellent service and would recommend them to anyone and fellow bike riders

This is a gem of a place. Knowledgeable, experienced, efficient, and helpful. Apparently they've been operating in the same premises for over 60 years - I hope they are still here in another 60.

Similar to the other gentleman - got a zipper replaced on my leather Dainese jacket. Got it done within 3 days, which was super quick. Didn't get a confirmation sms, but showing up at the agreed time the jacket was ready. Not an expert, but it seems like the job was done pretty well and the new zipper seems quite robust.

Michael and he's staff are so helpful and provide a great service. I import leather bags from Morocco and Walkalong is my go-to for when things aren't quite right. Anything I take to Michael is repaired in good time and the quality is always exceptional for a great price. Michael goes above and beyond for me and I don't know what I would do without him and his staff. Thanks!

Disappointing, Slow, Awful service! I left my luggage two months ago to either fix or replace. I tried to phone and every single time just simply excuses. I needed my luggage couple of weeks ago for a trip i told them and they did nothing about it. Every time the excuse was they couldn't fix the luggage the will replace them and the delivery was taking ages. Today 29.11.19 we phoned (due date was 15.10.19) and they told us, our luggage are ready, one replaced and one fixed. I am still dealing with this issue when I dropped my luggage first week of October. I would definitely not recommend this place at all! Customer service is very poor despite the guy seemed nice when we first dropped our luggage.

If you have locked or problem suitcase, this is the best place to go in melbourne! It also certified repair by samsonite and american tourister. We went to other one in the city near victoria market, and they have no idea to open my new luggage and even broken my suitcase.

I went to walkalong and the expert guy can open it within 10 minutes. The guy is friendly and not money oriented. I love his service! Definitely recommend to friends!

I got suggested to get my motorbike jacket fixed here and I rang for a quote, first man couldn't understand me, and second Micheal was very rude all I wanted was a rough quote witch he rudely said 100 and then hung up on me after I asked if he was located in camberwell if that was correct. He was cheaper and closer to where I was thinking of going but I I'm going to go to the other place the lady Jan was very nice and helpful on the phone and willing to help me. If you want your jacket fixed I suggest going to her you can find her on face book "Get Patched".

The owner micheal is rude and has no sense of customer service.
Bag was an airline replacement case and it took 4 months of calling and trying to get an indication and finally had to call airline directly to find that micheal had not even lodged the claim:

Do yourself a favor and get a new bag or go to someone else. This is the worst shop ever.

After a flight with Etihad I collected my suitcase completely destroyed. At the baggage service desk at Melbourne airport they told me to go to Walkalong to get it repaired. They failed to explain te process properly, but after I called Walkalong, Michael told me to come over with my suitcase and the claim, and he would fix/replace my case straight away, no costs. (He also told me which tram to take to the shop.) Within 5 minutes I left with a brand new suitcase!

Super fast fixing and great quality! No troubles since going there and having it fixed up! Friendly staff!

Great craftsmanship on my leather satchel at a very reasonable price. The shop is pretty busy though so you will have to wait.

I took my suitcase there for a wheel to be replaced. It fell out at the airport terminal, prior to checking in my bag. I took it back to see them about it and he was rude and not interested in fixing his poor workmanship. Would not recommend this store for your repairs.
