The gold standard of hospitality. Service was second to none in the most unpretentious, genuine way. Food, cocktails and wine were all incredible. As a solo diner I felt super comfortable and welcomed, thank you for an incredible meal!

We've eaten here a few times and always been happy. The food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. Always look forward to eating here.

We found the place by accident and we love it, the owner and staff are absolutely amazing, it is so nice to see so much ambition and dedication to this great industry. Now, for the food: One word; Exceptional. This will be our go to place in the future for special occasions. Thank you for for these great dinner nights.

Quaint little restaurant with beautiful food. Saturday evening was completely full so staff were really under the pump. Unfortunately this meant extended wait times (which could have delayed seatings for later bookings). This also meant staff were spread very thinly across multiple customers. We were also only informed on the day of our booking that we’d have to sit outside (on an evening where the temp was approx 10 degrees!). We had booked long before so were disappointed they didn’t give us much notice. It was our anniversary so was meant to be a special dinner. Would have rated 5 stars for food alone but service was disappointing to say the least.

Total hidden gem. Upstairs overlooking the galley kitchen, watching the brigade cook is a terrific spot. A tad pricey but very good nonetheless

My friend and I came here for the first time yesterday and we had the most amazing experience! The food was delicious, we tried the fettuccine which was the special of the day, and our server who I believe is named Cartier was so attentive and helpful the whole night. Overall, we felt very welcome, the location was great and the food was incredible to match. Will be back!

All the dishes we tried were great!

Duck liver pate is a greater starter, truly enjoyed the homemade squid ink pasta with fresh tiger prawns. Saffron pappardelle is delicious with blue swimmer crab.

Best part is the dessert - their tiramisu is a must try, it’s one of the best in town!

We had the winter takeaway for 2 with wine. It was a very tasty and well presented meal. Heaps of food and the today lamb was wonderful. Totally recommend the takeaway experience from here while we can't go out

I have been countless times and the food and wine are always exciting, which is always a challenge for a local restaurant. Could not recommended enough, glorious food and wine, wonderful (and eye-catching) service. Perfect Italian experience

Not only was the food absolutely exquisite (as it is every time), but the service is beyond any! I needed some out of the ordinary assistance with the delivery service and the Vaporetto team went over and above what was ever expected to help me! On top of their help, they also knew it was a birthday and wrote a beautiful Birthday message on the delivery bag and added a single beautiful gold candle for the celebration! The delivery driver also wished us a happy birthday when he arrived! What a friendly and kind team they have!

In terms of the food - I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It's the kind of food that makes you close your eyes with enjoyment after every mouthful! If you don't try it, you're missing out!

A really nice restaurant. The staff are lovely and the service is top notch. They were doing set menus because of COVID restrictions but they still managed to fit me and partner in for wine, coffee and a snack before our movie. We left our movie tickets on the table by accident but our waitress chased us down to give them to us! Very sweet. Thanks a bunch guys.

Fantastic special occasion restaurant. The bar area is great also for a quick drink or arancini pre-cinemas. We enjoyed the entrees (duck liver pate and arancini), seafood special barramundi, prawn pasta, lamb ragu gnocchi, and veal cottoletta. I always order the gnocchi (winter menu regular) which comes with an extra pan of sauce and bread. The staff are very good and even went out of their way to give us extra toast for the pate and bring a scoop of salted caramel ice cream with a candle and sing happy birthday to our guest!
