Great vibe, fantastic staff and food perfect! The gnocchi was so tender with a lamb ragu sauce to match. The bar is well stocked and bar tender very knowledgeable. Deserts to die for.
We would highly recommend.

Excellent dishes were served, full of flavor and somewhat artistic twist in plating. Will be back to try something else.

As an Italian food expert, I must say my experience at Vaporetto Hawthorne was nothing short of divine, truly a gem for Venetian cuisine enthusiasts.

From the moment you step in, you're greeted by an ambiance that whispers Venice in its charming allure. The menu is a delightful voyage through Venetian flavors, each dish rich in authenticity.

The Scotch Fillet was a revelation, tender and bursting with depths of flavor, while the Fish of the Day was cooked to perfection, fresh and succulent.

The staff exudes warm Italian hospitality, making you feel like a cherished guest in a Venetian household. It's not just a meal but a cultural sojourn at Vaporetto Hawthorne - undoubtedly the best Italian Venetian experience in the area!

Celebrated our 10 Year wedding anniversary there recently and we had a very wonderful experience.
Food was as good as some 1-chef hatted restaurants and the staff were really attentive. Will definitely dine there again!

Best Italian restaurant in Hawthorn:) The menu offers both classic Italian dishes and delectable creations inspired by the culinary traditions of Venice, as suggested by the name. Great selection of wines and drinks. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure every diner can have a wonderful dining experience with their friendly and attentive service. Amazing vibes any time of day. The delicious cuisine, coupled with a fantastic atmosphere, makes it an ideal destination for a quick drink (or two), a casual lunch, or a delightful dinner with friends and family.

A shadow of it's former self. Their once fantastic wine list, with unique and interesting cocktails has been butchered since new owners have taken it over. Food was still good, but nothing special. Beef cheek was rather bland and under seasoned, but the gnocchi and tortelli were better. Their amazing tiramisu recipe is also going to be changing moving forward. The service was very welcoming and attentive from everyone throughout the venue. Don't think I'll be coming back for the price.sad.

Incredible authentic Italian cuisine and such a beautiful restaurant. Transports you to Venice with it’s traditional decor. The cuisine is incredible and you absolutely must get the Vapomisu and a side of patatine fries (how do they make everything so delicious?)

We had an amazing experience at this Venitian Italian gem in the heart of Hawthorn. Staff was super friendly and the food authentic Italian. Restaurant has a great vibe. Recommended for Pre-Cinema Dinner or Casual drink at their bar Post Cinema or Midweek. Must try: Gnocchi Lamb Ragu

A fresh take on Italian food. Subtle pasta, pescatarians will love it, generous helpings. Staff were interesting and genuinely interested in looking after us. Great limoncello variations. We'll be back. Thank you

The great Mietta said the measure of a good restaurant is consistency, and Vaporetto never disappoints. Excellent staff and delicious food, time after time. Professional hospitality, and a changing menu with specials (spaghetti vongole a highlight). Good produce cooked well.

Three of us had Christmas Eve at Vaporetto and the food was delicious. We began with arancini and enjoyed the king fish, calamari and Laguna (beautiful seafood spaghetti). Desert was a silky pannacotta. The service was excellent - thank you Hugo - and the wine selection very good.

Lovely food and service, Maybe not to order cocktail since every store has different style i guess. The two we ordered are not too flavorful. But the food are absolutely amazing! Will come back again
