I went for a haircut and Crystal did an amazing job. She made sure I was satisfied and was very professional. Great work!

Super friendly staff and Karla was wonderful! She created an amazing colour on my hair and I absolutely love it!

Had my hair done back in June, did half head of highlights and a big cut. They are great for coloring cannot say anything bad about the work done but the cut was horribly done and I only just realized recently when getting my hair redone but another salon. One side of my hair is a completely different length to the other (no this isnt after months of regrowth it is about 5cm of difference on both side) I did notice a little afterwards but thought it was just how layers were I am not a hairdresser. Sad that I have to leave a negative review about this, just be wary when getting your hair cut here.

This is my first visit at Unik Hair Design and I was so pleased with the service.

Going blonde and have tried multiple hair salons, none of previous places have satisfied me (either too pricey, not right colour, not right hair cut).

However, Courtney from Unik Hair Design is definitely a gem. Her customer service and skills are impressive. She puts your needs before anything else. I left the salon today with a smile on my face and locked down appointments for next 6 months.

I would really like to thank the fantastic hair stylist who cut my hair on Thursday. (I am so sorry I can’t remember your name which is very rude). I’m beyond happy with my bob haircut & new fringe which simply fell into place this morning after a wash, with only the hairdryer, my fingers & a quick use of a round brush on my fringe. Nothing else was needed. She knew exactly what to do with my fine & limp hair. I can’t remember it looking this good since I was a lot younger. Sorry again for not having your name, but am so glad I booked my next appointment with you.

It always pays off to check out online reviews when finding a new hair salon. I was impressed by UNIK and the great feedback they received so I made an online booking. I received a call to confirm what I needed done and of course, I didn't really know. I just wanted my hair to look good and feel better. Chrystal was super friendly and welcomed me to come in to discuss my options. Upon first meeting she was professional, gave great suggestions and was free to do my hair on an earlier date which was really convenient. I walked away today feeling very impressed and happy with what Chrystal had done for me. I highly recommend UNIK Hair Design to anyone who wants to feel like a valued customer. Thank you Chrystal!

I got my hair done by Courtney who was very professional she asked me questions throughout the whole process and made sure I was comfortable. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and the end result was exactly what I wanted.really happy.

Disappointing. Was discussing dates for next available haircolor and cut appointments for my sister and I. The person serving us asked us to wait and started serving couple behind us. If they had an appointment, I wouldn't be bothered, but similarly like us, they were after an appointment date. Don't mind when I am asked to wait - but in this instance it felt extremely rude and insensitive. Wouldn't recommend my family and friends to go there.

I was extremely nervous to get a Balayage done as I have never gotten my hair coloured, but when I went into the salon the team could tell I was nervous and made me feel very relaxed. They offered me magazines to read and they offered a tea/coffee! I got a natural blonde balayage done by Chrsytal and I was extremely happy with the end results! The customer service is out of this world! The team at UNIK Hair Design are so friendly! I would definitely recommend to others! I went in to get my hair cut on Saturday and the stylist seemed a little distracted. I didn't think anything of it and went home. As my hair started to uncurl I noticed that there were strands which were longer than the rest of my hair. It was obvious that the stylist had missed some strands. I called and went in to get it fixed. The stylist who fixed my hair-Courtenay was great. Although she gave me some bs excuse how strands of my hair appeared to be longer because of the way my hair was parted. I've had my hair cut short plenty of times from a $10 to a $200 dollar haircut and I've never had some strands longer because of the way I part my hair. I wish she would have just been honest and said that a mistake had been made. I wouldn't have minded. And I would have come back. I appreciated that Courtney fixed my hair which is why I'm giving 3 stars but I would have appreciated the honesty. Which is why I will not return.

I had the keratin treatment, my hair looks and feels amazing! Great experience and great staff. They were so friendly and made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. The salon looks so awesome, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend and I’ll be back!

Good service, friendly staff. Can get busy so advise to call ahead and book before going in. I don't have a child, but I have seen them cutting children's hair on several occasions, and they seem to do quite well with keeping the children entertained during the process. Book a later time in the day or non-weekends if you prefer to avoid the kids.

GREAT People, GREAT Service, GREAT Experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They made alot of effort to make me feel comfortable and also to answer all the questions I needed for my first visit. I love my hair and would return again and again! I will definitely recommend everyone i know to come to UNIK because of my personal experience and the professional service i recieved. Definitely recommended going to Unik and especially Thomas! With his hairdressing skills you will be amazed.
Thomas also care for his client, he gave me advice on the shampoo that’s suitable for my dry and stubborn hair; and now my hair is no longer dry and I can easily style my hair.
Will always come back here for haircut from now on!
