Can’t thank the team at Unik enough. Thomas and his team are very friendly and welcoming. I required a colour correction, Nicole gave me an excellent consultation and explained every step.nothing was too much trouble for her. Nicole made me feel comfortable and confident in her ability. Nicole knows her colours and was excellent in her foiling technique. The end result was an amazing transformation. My hair has never felt healthier or shinier. The team are knowledgeable and professional! I highly recommend Unik

First time was fine with the cut. Although, they suggested a Keratin treatment ($450+$300 HairCut and color) to reduce frizz. Instead this completely straightened my hair getting rid of all my beautiful natural curls which I've had my whole life. This has devastated me as they guaranteed me this would not happen. It is now flat and lifeless. I came in again for a half head foils and color and style cut as I did the first time and asked for the same thing as last time by the same staff except the keratin. This alone set me back over $350. Not only did they not put any blonde in, they didn't cut my hair properly at all. They palmed off different staff to me. The inexperienced girl hacked at it. No layers or style. She spent maybe 2 minutes cutting. Ruined the color and no foils. Barely blow dried my hair and charged me another ($260+) I went in and asked to speak to the manager who conveniently had covid and was meant to call me back in 3 days. That was almost 3 months ago now and I'm still waiting. So here is my review.
If you want to be ripped off, have your hair damaged by inexperienced girls who don't care, go to UNIK Hair design. They will give you exactly what you don't want and won't care if their customers are unhappy in the end. I had gorgeous curly blonde hair now I have flat lifeless dark hair that does nothing.

I came to Unik Hair Salon for a colour correction and I was not disappointed at all. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I had come in in a state of distress because of how unhappy I was with the way a previous hairdresser had done my hair but the staff made sure I was fitted in for an appointment on the same day, even asking a staff member to come in earlier. Nicolle did my colour correction and she was absolutely amazing. She walked me through the whole process and explained every step to me to make sure I could speak up if I needed to. She was also so passionate and knowledgeable in her work. At the end of it, I got the best balayage I’d ever had and I’ve never been more impressed with both the service and skill of any other hair salons I’d ever been to. 100% would recommend this place!

If I could rate higher I would. Thomas was amazing with my almost 2 and 3 year old boys. Beautiful haircuts and they were so relaxed and comfortable with him, I think he has a bit of magic in his scissors ️ We will definitely be regulars. A very friendly and lovely salon.

I love this place, 5 stars not enough, Thom always try find time to help my urgent request even they easy get fully booked.

I visited UNIK hair design end of last year and was served by Crystal. I showed the image of what I was wanting, which was lightening my hair with blonde highlights. After Crystal finished, I thought she did a great job. But I noticed there weren’t many blonde highlights like the image I showed. I made this comment and was hoping to add a couple of extra highlights to the front of my fringe.

I quickly realised Crystal wasn’t happy and she was taking it out on my hair. With zero care and professionalism, she took chunks (no exaggeration) of my hair and started to lather it in bleach. I was horrified when she completely changed the look and I had chunks of bright banana yellow scattered throughout my hair. Sadly, she also damaged and burnt the ends of my hair - which has never happened with how thick it is. All up, this cost me $417! And in the end, the only way to remove the yellow banana colour was to tone the colour to brunette.

I don’t know what the other stylists are like. But based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend booking here.

Went there a long time ago, tried other outlets decided to go back and still received the same excellent service and a warm welcome.

Can I rate lower than one star? I Have never seen a women more upset and distressed after a colour and cut than my wife yesterday - and she had good reason, the result did not look anything like what was requested. I'm not sure how you "fix' what was done. I'm sure that this isn't the norm - you'd go out of business if it was. The real disappointing thing was only excuses were offered when questioned at the time. Sorry - we won't be back.

I had a haircut today with Suzana and I love it! The place is very clean and people are very nice and welcoming. Suzana is very lovely and very professional. I will definitely go back.actually I am already booked for my hair colour next week:). Keep up the good work guys!

Had my haircut and styling yesterday. Courtney did an amazing job plus was superrr friendly and professional at the same time. She listened and answered all of my hair related queries. Took the sample of my hair for future possible color options. Not going anywhere else now.
Also they are great with kids.

I've been to UNIK twice and I loved it here. Courtney was so amazing! She is so nice and friendly and also explained everything very well. I am so happy with the colour, cut and style. This place has now become my go to hairdresser.
