Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake

Amazing shop, worth queueing out of the door (also you can only fit 2 people in the shop), the small cheesecakes are amazing. Eaten hot they have a creamy warm middle and left in the fridge overnight turn into a NY style baked cheesecake. Could easily eat a whole box, very addictive!

No wonder this little shop is so busy, the Japanese cheesecakes are to die for! Soooo fluffy, they just melt in your mouth! One of the very few places in Melbourne that can make Japanese cheesecake so perfectly!

One of the unique cheese cake I have ever tasted. It melts in your mouth and you can't stop eating it. I am a fan of cheese cakes, but sometimes it is hard to find the good one. Some are very creamy and some are too sweet, but their cheese cake is very balanced.
I have tried their all verities but original cheese cake is my favorite and when it comes to madeliene, matcha flavour is my favorite.
Staff is very polite and curtious.

The cake is as good as we expected, I always wondered how jiggly it would be, and after I tried to warm up for 20 seconds in the microwave, it tastes amazing, I personally love the warm cake more.

Uncle Tetsu sells some of the best cup cakes ever in Melbourne! My personal favorite is Honey Madeleine. I highly recommend it.

Been craving for it for ages and finally got it at Melbourne Central! Compare to western cheesecake I prefer Japanese cheesecake much more

One of the best cheesecakes in Melbourne. They also have really nice chocolate, honey and matcha madeleines. There is a queue most of the times but it goes fast! It’s open 11 am to 11 pm
