Uncle Tetsu's Japanese Cheesecake reviews
55Ordered original cheesecake and matcha cheesecake. It tastes light and fluffy. The flavour when it is room temperture, chilled or microwave still tastes nice
Soft fluffy cheesecake that melts in mouth… just awesome! Smoothest and softest cheesecake I ever had in my life
Oh, Uncle Tetsu! Such delicious treats. The Creme brûlée cone is delicious, but so rich. My favourite is by far the chocolate cheese tart. Perfect as a small snack. So delicious! Consistently delicious treats regardless of what you order.
The staff are always super friendly and lovely. Here’s a hint: if you’re just ordering a single item, ask for no bag. They’re always happy to place the delicious item directly into your hands with a napkin to save unnecessary packaging ️
I ordered the classic cheese cake. It was good. Wasn’t as amazing as I expected it to be, but still good. I wish it was just a tiny bit sweeter, but that’s just my personal preference. Service was very quick and efficient.
Delicious cheese tarts and crepes - but get in quick, they often sell out of the original flavours
Everything in this store is great, especially the cheese tart and the cheesecake although a bit pricey.
The best Japanese cheese tart, It is just amazing.the crepes are nice but the original cheese tart is my favourite.
I found out about their crepe brulee through tik tok and wanted to try, i honestly wasn’t expecting to like it as i’m not a fan of overly sweet things but this was so delicious it was like i was sent to heaven after the first bite.they have 2 flavours (original or matcha) i got the original which has whipped cream, cheesecake and strawberries inside and topped with custard which they toast sugar ontop of to turn into creme brulee.i’m 100% coming back here on my next day off because i haven’t been able to stop thinking about it
Rush customers so fast. I didnt even take long to decide but I felt pressured to go go go
Food howevrr was very good
Two of us came to Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Cheesecake shop to try the crepe brûlée. It was very delicious and everything we had hoped for in a strawberry cheesecake creme brûlée crepe. The only downside is that it’s an exclusive item only offered from 2: 30pm! We wish it was available all day!
Get the creme brûlée crepe noooow! A
Beyond delicious; even better than expected. All ingredient were super fresh, and the strawberry was the perfect fruit balance to all the sweet custard and cream. Already looking forward to getting another. Note that they only make this at certain times (most afternoons to early evening) so make sure you’re there at the right time!
Uncle Tetsu did a great job for having the Crepe Brulee on their menu!
I feel like it’s been on the menu for quite some time but suddenly blew up this year because of tiktok, is it just me or does anyone think that too? Idk time is a blur now haha
Anywayy they’re so good! I can see why people would line up for this. The first time we tried it, we only bought one. Next time we def need one each as I wanna have this goodness for myself
PS: Do you know that they’re only available from 2.30pm? ! Go line up at 2.29pm or earlier so you’ll be the first one to order
Creme brûlée in a crepe is honestly genius. My social media has been filled with videos about this and honestly I’m so glad. If you’re in the city I highly recommend trying it, it’s definitely worth the hype. If crepes ain’t your thing I recommend trying their delicious range of tarts and cheesecakes.
Must try creme brulee crepe! Will never find anything like it anywhere else and you can watch them make it before your eyes. They only make it during certain time periods (after 2: 30pm I believe), be sure to check before you go.
Best cheese cake ever Everyone should try this for once if never had before and I bet this will be your favourite.
Cheesecake is decent but quite expensive for the size you get. You can literally eat it in one go. It’s a good place to check out once, especially considering the hype, but I don’t know whether I would make my way there just to get an expensive cheesecake in future. Avoid the madeleines at all costs.
Loved the crepe so so so much, few seagulls tried stealing it at square haha
Cheese tart was absolute LOVE WILL come again for sure
Fluffy Japanese cheesecakes and yummy Japanese cheese tarts. I love going to Uncle Tetsu's for my cheat day and the cheesecake is so light and fluffy I could eat the whole thing in a day.
One of the highlight of melbourne trip.
Finally tried the cheesecake it tastes so good!
All the deserts here taste so good.
Great cheese cakes. Pricey but worth it.
Customer Service is better at Swanston street when compared to Melbourne Central.
Three variations of cheese cake were available. Original, Chocolate and Green Tea.
