Two Buoys

Great location by the beach, warm in the winter. I had spicy calamari and a glass of chianti, and the flavours of both were exceptional.

I had the ribs, hubby had the steak. Both were full of flavour and beautifully presented. Service was prompt and courteous. Warm and inviting atmosphere.

We are local residents who have enjoyed great times at Two Buoys in the past, however, Mothers Day this year was a disaster.
A time to enjoy quality conversation was utterly ruined by live entertainment which was loud enough to cause ear damage. In spite of requests by ours and other tables to lower the volume, it all fell on deaf ears (staff could hardly converse).
Service was spasmodic and food of very poor quality.
Our grazing plate, so beautifully described on the menu, only had one small wedge of cheese, instead of the three offered.
The pizza a mean little miserable affair.
On a positive note, the complimentary sparkling wine and rose offered to our mothers was a nice touch.
On such a special day, a restaurant such as this should have displayed its very best and attended to its job. Hospitality!

I wish I could give this place a 0 star. Awful service and experience on a busy day. We walked away after waiting more than 1 hour without getting our order or any explanation. Manager nor the staff even checked on us while passing our table many times. If you can't serve any more tables and if your kitchen has reached its capacity, just be frank and tell you can't serve customers.

Great cocktail bar and eatery accross from Dromana Beach in the middle of everything live music nice looking place I ordered the Pork and Veal Meatballs spicy and very tasty then Moroccan Flatbread which was delicious good service nice staff considering how busy they were highly recommended

Waited 25mins for 2 oysters, had to also explain to FOH what the oyster garnishes were.never in my 12yrs of hospo have I ever seen that.will never go back. I'm glad they were nice otherwise I would've been even more unimpressed.

Really enjoyed the meal, service was excellent with so many staff looking after us and keeping us in the loop with our food. Had a variety of tapas, beautiful squid, prawns and chicken. The galaxy read was average and the tofu mushrooms which we excited about left us flat.

Nice to be back in Melbourne after two years. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and they provide good quality of food with nice sunset view. The live music provide added lively atmosphere for the dining experience, well done

Very pricy poor quality very small portion, the food it is not worth the price you pay, we ordered fish and chips, just 3 very very small pieces of fish nuggets.

From the humorous cocktail menu, to the delicious Spanish prawns, to the stylish loo… excellent! & thanks for the live entertainment too!

Food was exceptional. Wings and calamari was my favourite. Also the pork belly sliders amazing too. Had a lovely waiter, but when it got busy he was trying to serve all tables by himself and seemed like should have been more waiters. Otherwise definitely recommend.

It's lovely on a wintry night to sit behind the clear blinds, under the heater, looking over to the beach.

Below average. Nice live music but it was run by an odd unexperienced host, made it awkward. Food was ok, far from the level of the peninsula. Drinks seems to come from a random city nightclub. Service lacked of quality and friendliness. Overall disappointing.

We went to this venue for dinner and ordered the full rack of ribs and a bowl of chips to share. The food came cold and tasteless. The salad served with the ribs felt like it literally was put together using canned beans and canned corn. It was watery, and had no dressing.
The ribs which costed us $38, was bland, cold and felt like it was prepared a few days ago and microwaved prior to serving.
We then asked the wait staff if we could get a side of BBQ sauce as the ribs was very bland. We couldn’t find any servers for 10 minutes and I had to go into the kitchen to call them out when I saw them just chatting with each other and the kitchen staff.
I then proceeded to ask for the sauce in which they replied, “I’m not sure we can do that, we will have to check with the chefs. ”. I then said that the food was flavourless hence why we had to ask for the sauce. He didn’t acknowledge that I had said how bland the food was / offer to make us a new one. He just gave us a side of the bbq sauce and went back to chat with his work mates.
We are so disappointed in this experience and hopefully our review will help others to reconsider before spending their money here.

The most fantastic dinner night I have ever had, perfect for families but I went with my beautiful girlfriend, and it was astonishing.
Scrumptious food, splendid cocktails, and lovely staff

Ran out of the one dish we wanted but ok that happens. Ordered 2 drinks and a starter, had all menus taken away so felt a bit unwelcomed. Tried to make the best of it but the bar was obnoxiously loud. Maybe invest in an ice crusher so the staff aren't relentlessly hammering away every 30 seconds.
Might give it another crack when I'm not so hangry

Absolutely unforgettable experiences! We had stake and prawns, were perfectly cooked and taste amazing! The churros are definitely the best ever and Coronella pinot noir is the one can't miss. Highly recommended
