again
Food is a 10/10, delicious
lady who served us was very nice and helpful
restaurant looks great and good music
Really good food. I had the ribs and they were so tender the bones slid out completely clean. My partner had the steak and loved it. They also have a lot of fun with their cocktail list and do the classics as well.
Fish tacos were beautiful. Pork ribs that two of our group had was awful. I provided the feedback and heard nothing in response,
My fiancée and I were celebrating 18yrs together-couldn’t have picked a better place!
Best seat in the house, the most scrumptious food and marvellous memories madethanks Two Buoys
Lovely decor and even though it was a busy, sunny Sunday the service was excellent, good food, good wine list and reasonably priced.
Two Buoys Restaurant. What a great find. Thanks Con for the recommendation. We had a great time and a delicious lunch. We opted for cocktails, oysters, calamari, meatballs, wine and the obligatory (well for us) Affogato with Frangelico for “dessert”. They also serve awesome looking flat breads (pizza), and seafood platters, surf n turf, ribs and pasta, as well as a great range of tapas. We also enjoyed a lychee cocktail each and shared a bottle of Tempranillo red wine. The service was top notch. We loved the atmosphere so much we booked to dine there again next week.
Had high expectations of this restaurant after being recommended. Arrived at the door with no greeting and no idea that we had already booked online. We ordered the fish platter at $250 to share. It arrived and was a bit “tired” but alright. We had to ask for finger bowls which I thought would be normal considering they served the correct fish utensils. Before we finished our main meals we were asked if we wanted to order dessert as the kitchen was closing at 8pm although it is advertised dinner until 9pm. The sadest part was our services tonight, two waitresses serving us like they just didn’t want to be there and we and the other guests were just a burden to them. We tried, as guests, to converse to get them motivated but to no avail. Sorry to say it was the first and last time we will be attending this venue
I have never been to this place before and I was just walking to find a place to have lunch. I really enjoyed the Tapas menu the watermelon with mint on ice.definitely yummy
Amazing vibe, loved the fried Saganaki and the presentation of the fresh oysters. They offer Q. R code available, a feature I love at restaurants.
Stay away it’s a complete rip-off.
$12 for literally a small handful of fries.
$25 for a flatbread pizza with zero toppings.
Very average food, the "spicy" wings had chilli cut up on top of it with what seemed like mayonnaise instead of aioli. Same with our spicy chilli squid, just some chilli popped on top. We also had to ask for service. But the ambience was nice, much preferred the old Two Buoys a few years ago.
Service was exceptional. Food was excellent and there was plenty of it (we selected one of the fixed price packages).
Lovely local in Dromana that caters for both gluten and dairy intolerance. Friendly staff who are very responsive to dietry requirements. Great beer and wine options too, including local producers. Kid meals are also available; nutella topping was a hit!
Great place - friendly team and good menu. They have a fantastic bar and a super delish cocktails. I was in for a Gin and they recommended ‘Monkey 47’ …. That was a wonderfully refreshing … ordered a bunch of tapas and flatbreads, whilst everything was great, their Spanish Prawns we had were super yumm … all in all a great afternoon
We shared from the Tapas menu.and I must say the food was delicious! …. Also a vast drinks menu and the cocktails were impressive.friendly staff and prompt service. Sunday afternoon live music by Lady and the Tramp kept the vibe going. I would highly recommend dining here when in Dromana.
Thank you see you again soon.
Great food and ambience and a super friendly staff!
Special mention to the Spanish prawns dish.we'll probably take a 1and a half drive back to just eat that!:)
Been to Two Buoys twice now and it's been a fantastic experience both times. Delicious food, great (and hilarious) cocktail selection, and lovely beachside view!
Waiter ignores us even when he saw us standing at the door, then he was chatting and laughing with other waitresses.
The food price was overpriced compared to its quality. The sweet potatoes chips we ordered had most of the chips stuck together.
One waitress came to our table to check the food twice, we were thinking she did her job correctly and then we noticed she did this because her boss was there.
The waitress tried to take away our plates even the food still in plates.
In summary, I would not recommend this place.
Waited over 40 minutes for our entree meals that never arrived.
I was told it would be only a few more minutes. After 60 minutes still no food. We were then told our meals were given to other patrons. No notification by staff. No assistance. No attempt to recook.
They did however believe it was morally the right thing to do and charge my partner and I for the two drinks ordered despite the horrendous service after we decided to leave.
