Two Birds One Stone reviews
60Each Sunday my partner and I usually go out for breakfast and we thought today we would try Two birds one stone. The experience was really disappointing starting with the coffee which was cold and milky, the smoothie definitely wasn’t worth $10 and the food was bland. Staff was very friendly tho.
We went as a party of 6, grandparents, children and grandchildren. We were given a suitable table and were served with good coffee and excellent food. Bob
Fabulous!
Hands down, this was my favourite café during our recent Melbourne trip (amongst many excellent other ones that we visited). The food was delectable and the staff very quick. I also loved the fresh flowers on each table Besides the lovely interior, I was very impressed with the menu (please see photo attached)
The area is great, too. For instance, the Botanic Garden is just 10 minutes away and there are plentiful other food places around that look promising.
Coffee almost always beautiful. The team of staff are lovely. Always something yummo on the menu. Almost always busy which is testament to having all elements that make a good cafe.
There is a reason why this place is always on Instagram.the presentation is amazing and the food is delicious!
The main downside is that it can be difficult to get a seat and the communal table can be squishy.but I guess that just shows how popular it is!
Always a good breakfast experience at.
Good decor, friendly staff, great delicious food and generous servings. Coffee is also pretty good.
Generally a good pick of you are in the South Yarra area, and pretty close to the train station as well!
Went here five days in a row for breakfast and coffee while staying in South Yarra. The menu’s vegetarian options were all delicious—the shakshouka (a special), the labneh, the chia seed pudding, the avo toast. You can also eat well by just cobbling together sides. So: lots of good options.
Plus, the place is nice (even if the outside street isn’t all that pretty) and the folks who work there are even nicer. I’d definitely recommend it!
Had a wonderful breakfast yesterday. Fresh and delicious! Smashed avocado was yummy. Everything looked great. Will come back with my family for another visit!
Not too bad. Had bircher and a coffee. Coffee was delicious. Bircher decent, but a little dry. Staff friendly and attentive.
Relaxed atmosphere. Diverse menu - Delicious food with creative flair. Ordered smash avo - great presentation! Prices a little higher than average. Staff friendly and helpful
What a pleasant place! Wonderful ambience. Perfect brunch spot after church. Great selection, especially for vegetarians. Worth a visit!
Excellent food and service, the coffees are also fantastic - would recommend the long black to anyone heading here for coffee!
Great food choices, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, helpful staff and reasonable prices. Gets packed on weekends so get in early or later after lunchtime buzz. They welcome you upon arrival and have communal tables, usually no split bills on weekends or menu changes. Lovely atmosphere tucked away in Claremont St.
My Eggs Benedict was somehow both light and filling (the perfect amount of food) with unusual and delicious flavours. My partner’s Big Breakfast was very generous. Everything made perfectly. The staff were professional, friendly and unpretentious.
When I want to introduce any visitors to Melbourne coffee I take them here. Not only is the coffee culture amazing, the food is a pallet adventure! The presentation of the food is unbeatable for the value. The most important things, the staff is amazing. I have never had a bad experience. I was paying with cash one day and was two dollars short. I offered to pay with card and the owner told me not to worry about it. Wow!
We were a couple of Poms who popped in for brunch a couple of times. It was a delight - the food was excellent and the service was efficient and friendly. It was pretty good value too. Will definitely pop back if we are over again.
Specialty coffee is nice. Their waffles on special menu is amazing in terms of decorations and taste! The attendants are friendly as well - Love it!
Love it. Food and coffee is always perfect. The salmon is to die for.
Have always had good service here.
Black sesame tofu salad is not as good as expected. Dressing is a bit too sour and didn’t match the Asian style combination.
Flat white is awesome.
Ordered hot chocolate and eggs on toast. The eggs come on top of the toast so you habe to deassemble to spread the butter. How a restaurant cannot cook fried eggs I do not know. They were over cooked, hard yolk and burnt on the bottom. The hot chocolate was very rich and did nothing for me. Would not eat there again. A friend also said don't bother going there to use the WiFi either.
