Trinket Bar Melbourne reviews
78Cool bar. Great service. Enjoyed the hidden entrance however wished they would come up with a few more surprises.
It’s a great place and decor! However since it’s kind of bar with food you would expect the music to be at a sound level where one can have a conversation without shouting like in a club, other than that the food was delicious and the drinks were good, staff was always nice, for me it’s mostly the noise that ruins the ambiance
Great bar for a quick pizza with friends over lunch. Nice dark decor, quieter than most Flinders Lane places and much more comfortable.
I love the wardrobe entrance that gives this place the unique speakeasy look. The drinks are also great and this place is a definite recommend for your pre drinks before any dinner date or engagements.
Good/cheap pizza and beer in a very nice place on Flinders Lane? Trinket is in my radar now. Will return.
Great food and drinks. Excellent service. Love the ambience. Will definitely be back to try out more on the menu
A focused, well executed cocktail menu served by friendly staff in a cool venue. Wasn't into the music, but who cares when there's conversation and drinks?
How do you not love a cocktail bar that you enter, Narnia-esque, from a wardrobe? Amusing entry aside, drinks are consistently excellent here, and everything I've tried from the menu is delicious: the cheese cigars are a particular highlight. Service is also usually spot on: attentive without being stifling
Found this place while wandering and were very drawn in by the good choices of vegetarian dishes on the menu as well as the reasonable prices.
The food was delicious, especially the sticky haloumi with honey and blueberries.
The decor is also charming with many beautifully displayed vintage objects.
Visited here on a Monday night near close as a small Christmas party was leaving. Bar staff were very friendly and the manager made an excellent Manhattan.
This place has great ambience for a quiet cocktail (off-peak times), and has a very luxurious feeling to the furniture and space.
Not a bad spot at all. We stopped here for a pre dinner drink, some Domain Chandon sparkling. Our table was good and the restaurant bar area is certainly pleasant. Service was brisk and efficient and moderately warm. The wine hit the spot too. Conclusion: the bar restaurant is good.
Lovely little bar and the food was great!
I was served by a blonde girl named Charlotte. Very sweet, excellent service, and even though the bottom bar wasn't open, she allowed me to video the little entrance. Really happy with the attitude of the staff and the whole feel of the place!
Don’t tell anyone! I found this amazing place for the lunchtime work day! The pizza and salad we tried were soooo tasty. Went back the next week, tried different ones, just as delicious! Lots of vegetarian options. Great staff, delicious food, good prices and not very crowded. I think the word hasn’t got out yet.so let’s just keep this one to ourselves!
Recently visited Trinket to try their Feed Me menu. First of all, the space is cosy and elegant but not too stuffy, with little knick knacks decorating the space along with velvet furniture and vintage looking light fixtures.
Staff made sure I was well taken care of and that my dietary preferences were accommodated. They were able to make the Feed Me veggie. It was a ton of for the price, starting with a fresh mozarella and tomato bruschetta. We also tried the cheesy filo cigars served with a charcoal aioli and the crispy haloumi topped with a sticky sweet blueberry and gin sauce. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me but the salty cheese helped to counteract that.
Next came a really nice, soft Margherita with plenty of basil. It was served with a herb slaw, green and red tomato salad and a beetroot, pumpkin, quinoa and hung yoghurt salad which was my favourite.
I always thought Trinket was more of a drink destination, but the food really impressed me. That said, the cocktail list is a must try. I started with a delicious rum and sparkling wine cocktail while my partner got a gin, lemon and honey one. We ended with a super smooth, rose infused espresso martini and an interesting, Japanese-inspired highball made with rice milk and melon.
Whether for drinks, food or both, Trinket is a hit and provides good value for money the price.
Interesting cocktails, lively atmosphere and great staff. Good to stop by before heading into town for the rest of the evening.
I went there for the special Bartender vs Chef Chocolate Night, it was amazing, incredible experience from the beginning to the end ^^! Cocktails and Food all delicious and they have a great sense of hospitality! I definitely recommend it and I will be back for sure!
Went for a bartender vs chef night. Chocolate themed. Just wow. Incredible food and drink. Such a beautiful venue. Love the "secret" closet room. Definitely recommend
Such a lovely place, nicest and warmest staff. I am writing this after 5 mins of sitting. Its that good. Classy and cool bar must place to visit
