Trinket Bar Melbourne

Stunning little bar. Atmosphere is amazing. Food and cocktail jugs delish. Service friendly and awesome. We had such fun and enjoyed every minute.

Was sceptical coming here because of the jugs and how much ch alcohol was in them.
Can confirm. I’m pretty wavy and the food was solid.

Juan Lewis was on point and the drinks were free flowing. Highly recommend this place!

Music was chill but they’re bangers so zero complaints all round

Nice enough bar, but the pumping, upbeat (loud) music didn’t seem to fit the subdued, dimly lit atmosphere which suggested a more intimate, calm venue.

The place was busy and so staff didn’t come to refill water or check on us. We ordered and paid through a QR code on the table and so our only interaction with someone was when they hurriedly gave us our food.

The food was okay but didn’t quite live up to expectations (in flavour or in portion size) after seeing photos on the online menu. The ‘spicy meatballs’ weren’t particularly flavour-filled and the sourdough they were on was very soggy by the time it came to the table. Arancini balls were delicious but smaller than we’d expected. However, the chips and aioli were nice and so were our cocktails!

Nice Bar in the heart of the city. Basement seating is the perfect place. Service was very quick. Food was good. Staff were polite and professional.

I came here on a trip from Japan and had some very delicious food and wine. I have some wonderful memories of Australia.

Bit of a crowded place, don’t go in unless u have reservations. They will treat you depends on how crowded the place is. If it’s crowded they don’t even care.and if it’s empty you will be treated well…

Only had a cocktail, but fun place to go down into the bar below hidden by the entry door through the wardrobe.

We had booked to go to dinner on a week night, but as I walked in we saw a mouse run across the floorboards to where there are old exposed pipes on the left hand side of the entry.

We also had a voucher but it could only be used if you download an app, which makes everything more complicated when trying to redeem the voucher.

Visit this place today to celebrate my friend’s birthday and everyone in our table was amazed by the place, the live music, the food and specially the service. We were lucky to be looked after by Juan, every recommendation was spot on, not to mention the cocktails. Five starts to Juan and Trinket Bar - Strongly recommend place to visit in Melbs heart!

We dropped into Trinket randomly after a friend had suggested it, we were not disappointed! The cocktails were exquisite, thanks for Jaun. The service was exceptional thanks to Andres. Vibes were excellent and the decor spot on, especially the funky wardrobe and downstairs bar. Will be back no doubt!

What a gem of a place. Exquisite.

Came for some drinks on Friday night. The place is great, food was lovely and Andres was so nice and gave us great recommendations for cocktails. They were all delicious. I specially recommend the naked and famous cocktail. Well balanced and simply delicious.
At the beginning we sat upstairs but they had a booking and we wanted to stay, so they found a table for us in the hidden bar. So cool!
Definitely coming again.

What a great venue! We loved this place so much, we are having our wedding reception there in the magnificent underground bar!

What an amazing hidden gem! The hidden bar through the wardrobe was absolutely gorgeous & a great out of the ordinary experience. The hidden bar has comfy big sofas and a dimly lit environment for a chilled out weekend night. Tried the spicy meatballs for some nibbles & they were so delicious. No chewy bits (like some meatballs) & felt like a freshly homemade dish. Though they were quite busy for the night, they accomodated us nonetheless & earnt full marks in friendly service. Would be back to try more food & drinks!

It was a cocktail bar, it was quiet when we went. Staff are lovely and drinks were nice, but we went for the novelty and it looks like the novelty is no longer. We took my in-laws who have travelled overseas and found it was no longer a quaint hidden bar. It was a shame but otherwise still nice. I wouldn't have ordinarily have tried it if it was simply a cocktail bar.

This review is purely reflective on the DJ Trinket hired for their NYE event. Terrible. Get a youthful DJ who can read the crowd and play better music.

A bar that I highly recommend despite a bit high price for cocktails. I came at the end of the day with some friends, we were sitting at the bar. I let myself be tempted by one of their cocktails which they have the secret. This one is really worth the detour with a taste of violet mixed with dragon fruit, a perfect combo. I take off one star because the bartender had forgotten my order.

The downstairs bar with the Velvet seating was very gorgeous and relaxing.

Quaint, cute bar in Flinders Lane. Ordering from the table is efficient and the bar staff are very accommodating. The menu has something for everyone and the food was delicious (cheese and charcuterie totally rocked). It was great on a comfy lounge in a quiet spot.

Nice little bar, came here for a few drinks, cocktails were nice, ambience/vibe here is quite mellow, and didn't like the fact there is no service and all ordering is to be done through QR code, and requesting tips when placing an order.
