BAD SERVICE!
I spent a lot of money for a tool I bought from Total Tools, Mt Waverley and there was a missing part. And they didn’t want to take responsibility. I offered to pay for the missing part. But all they were concerned was. It’s not their fault.
That I call is bad service. Especially from the manager

I visited Total tools Mt Waverley but didn't buy anything, as I was going to an Insider Night at another store local to me

Your team member Jason was really well-informed on the products and enthusiastic about giving me advice even though I wasn't getting anything today.

Totally recommend Total Tools Mt Waverley for their service, pricing is great but do become a total tools Insider and go for the insider night, great savings to be had!

Great service. Recently had a problem with a generator just out of warranty. George and Warrick (store manager) were excellent, returning calls and emails quickly and accurately, then providing a replacement carburettor free of charge. Thanks for the help guys.

This is my favourite total tools store, because of Warrick, who's always super happy and helpful. I have brought back several things for warrenty, warrick has been super easy going about it each time

I came in looking to buy some folding knives for my business. There were 2 chaps (a plump bald beardie and younger tradie-type) at the checkout counter gossiping away. I copped such a negative attitude when I approached the tradie-looking chap to help me search for a product that was placed so high up it was out of my view and reach. The audacity I had to interrupt his lovely banter with his bald muse during work hours! Then when it came time to pay up, I was blatantly ignored at the counter even though I was standing right in front of those 2 chatty chaps at the checkout counter. Clearly the gossiping was more important than customer service. I was about the blow my top off until a quick-thinking, nervous looking young staff member, named Peter, came over to help me out. He directed me to another checkout counter, which was unnecessary given the one I was standing at was open with his 2 gossiping colleagues. Checkout was a breeze with Peter, as it should be since the store was fairly quiet. Peter was also nice enough to try to make excuses for his 2 unhelpful colleagues who were more interested in each other than helping customers. To those lazy chaps I saw there today, you should be grateful for walk-in customers (and they are a dwindling lot) because they are the reason you still have jobs. This is a business that can be largely online nowadays. I concur with nearly all previous bad staff reviews at this branch. If this is the kind of rotten customer service you face just trying to get help to search for a product and paying up, imagine all the horrifying dramas you will experience with issues like defects, returns, or refunds. Total Tools (Mt Waverley) staffed by (almost) total tools!

Our company, Innovative Vision Statements, always finds what we need at Total Tools Mt Waverley. The customer service is awesome, they listen, understand and advise only on what we ask for and need. Their prices are fantastic and the quality of everything we have ever bought and continue to buy from them is top notch quality! I-VS definitely recommends Total tools! Awesome people to deal with, capable, willing to cater to your needs, with good old fashioned friendly and polite customer service every time!

Don’t buy online with them especially the power tools. They will give you a opened box one (customer returned), although it is still usable. Bought one makita table saw and makita blower with this same experience.

Top guys. Warrick and his team are on the ball. Very knowledgeable people. They are always very polite and will do whatever they can to assist you.

If you want toys, go to a toy shop. If you want tools, go to Total Tools Mt Waverley.

Unprofessional, poor service

I'm a regular trade customer. I bought some Festool vacuum bags in March and I was given a box of wrong ones.

I showed a photo of my unit with the model number to the salesperson and he sold me the product he picked for me. I didn't use them until a month later and I found I was given the wrong ones. I couldn't use them and until now they are unused and the box has no damage. But due to the long lock down delay, today I went to swap them with correct ones. But the store manager told me they were CORRECT after he saw the photo of my unit with the model number. Also he said it's been six months which is way over 14 days.

Then I found that they have a same model on display. The bag of this display unit is different to what I got and I showed it to the manager. But he said it has been six months.

I ended up buying a box of the correct ones. So if I had bought some bags by showing him the photo of my unit (which shows the model) today, he would have sold me the wrong ones again! Even after six months!

I just want to ask Total tools management: why should a customert pay twice to get one product? Why should a customer pay for your mistake?

I'm not going to spend a cent at this store.
