Great sashimi! Shared a few dishes and all were good. Service was great and chocolate mousse for desert was perfect.

We’re do I start we booked the restaurant for 6pm we were told we need to be out by 7pm that was fine, as we walk in the waiter asks to see our vaccination status which was fine but what did get me upset was that most of the waiters clearly didn’t wear their masks.
The service was terrible we ordered our drinks 10 minutes later we asked may we please have our drinks, then they take our orders food came out really slow and when our main meals came out the rice wasn’t with it so I had to tell them to take it away as our food would of been cold before our rice came out, and if you wanted a glass of water good luck with that as well.
I clearly didn’t like the double standards of them asking for my vaccination status while there staff walk around with there masks under ther chin and some not wearing one at all.
As for us after being a loyal customer for over 10 years they have lost me, it’s time for us to find a new Japanese restaurant we’re we will enjoy the experience and not leave disappointed.
In the last 2 years over the lockdowns I have always payed in cash to help but after my experience today I payed by card that’s how disappointed I was.

We have been coming here for around 20 years and the drop of in quality is horrendous. The portions were 50% smaller and 100% more expensive, not to mention the quality was no better then any takeaway spot. Overall the quality was not very good and we won’t be coming back again sadly. The staff were nice though.

We had lunch here on a Saturday it was delicious. Good, fresh Japanese food and the staff are very friendly also. We will be back!

We used to absolutely love going here, that was until they opened up again after lockdown.
Terrible service and the smell…. Don’t get me started on the smell.
I believe it’s the small bowls of vegetables covered in some strange gizz which they leave out on every table for hours on end.

To top it off none of the dishes were of the quality that they used to be. Very disappointed.

First time here and last time. I was hoping for some authentic tasting Japanese food but was disappointed. Its variety of colour and presentation was lovely but dont let it fool you. Its not very tasty. The restaurant its self smells very oily and the food was very oily. Tasted very mass produced and lacked any flavour. None Japanese owners or chefs. Brought our entrees out after our mains.

Yum yum yum went here last night ordered so much food and was unbelievable. Very fresh and good quality ingredients. See you soon!

We ordered the salmon and Tuna sushi platter for 85$. For 24 pieces of Nigiri.
I understand every retail and restaurant is having a tough time at the moment, but this was ridiculous.
The slices of fish were literally see through and slim, we couldn’t even taste the fish, of the 24 pieces there was probably less than 50 grams fish on the platter.
For that price you could get much better platters in a higher end restaurants.
Didn’t try their other stuff.

Would give this place a miss. Over $80 for horrible quality food. Fish all tasted old and not fresh, tuna was dry and nori felt old. Too much rice for some things not enough for others. The cutting of the fish looked like it was done by a 5 year old. Didn’t enjoy food one bit save yourself and go else where

Slow service. Ignored by waitress. Missed out on one course from Banquet B. Sashimi. Not impressed as I had to debate the issue

What a great place to take the family out. The service was so good. They thrive to serve you when your there. You don’t get that anymore when you go into the city.

Lovely restaurant with all our favourite Japanese dishes served by friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Highly recommend this place!

Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. But the food was very disappointing.
Taste: Many of the flavours were not from Japanese cuisine. Heavy and over fried dishes. Left with an oily taste in my mouth. Blah.
Price: Little value in terms of cost and what was received. Half sized sushi and 1/4 of the set had no fish (egg or tofu). Other dishes portions were smaller than in Japan.
Presentation: it was pretty with lots of colour. But this is only a small part of a meal.

I had takeaway last night and I must say it is the worst Japanese I have ever had. 5 dishes and $96 later I didn’t enjoy any of it except the garlic prawns. Even the vegetables were horrible. Beef tough, chicken bland. Flavours were not there. Very disappointed.

Delicious food, great staff. Not overbearing and very friendly, they really know their stuff, very helpfull and offered things that weren't on the menu. Highly recomend for dates or groups

This is our go to Japanese fix when visiting friends in the area. Busy for a reason with great food and great ambience, we had a table of 6 and just ordered bits of everything off the menu and was soooo good from the Sushi & Sashimi platter, Gyoza, Rice, seafood etc was absolutely beautiful we all walked out full and content. Until the next time!

Nice Japanese food but we had abit of waiting time for our food to be serve. Overall experience was good

Delicious Japanese cuisine. Food came out really quickly which was great as we were dining with a toddler. Found the service a bit hit and miss, didnt get offered/ given water then it took 3 staff to get the bill. Guessing it was just too busy that night. But would definetly go again as the food was great.
