Excellent service with near excellent food that is priced accordingly.

We eat take away here on the regular, and the food is always very tasty. But the last few visits, the customer service has not been great. On multiple occasions we’ve been given a time of 30-40 minutes to pick up our order, however when we arrive we are then made to wait an additional 30-40 minutes. Like tonight, we were told our order will be ready at 7, it’s now 7: 35 and we are still waiting. This is not acceptable. I totally understand that things get busy, and am happy to wait 10-15 minutes extra if it’s really required but you can not ask your customers to wait an additional 30-40 minutes than your original timing. If you can’t handle the number of orders coming through, please don’t accept them or hire additional staff in your kitchen.

Overpriced for the quality of food served. Katsu Don and Udon are tasteless, do not order that. Unagi Don is ok, bento box is ok. Are they worth the price, no.

Beautiful place, delicious food and everyone is so nice, when we ordered a banquet, they made us wait a while longer than expected, but that was so they could bring us multiple courses at once, which I thought was great. Overall, great place with great food and great service.

Been here a few times over the years however, we were at this venue this week, we were served by a random looking person dressed with adidas trackpants, runners and a casual top, didn't think he would be the waiter. This was very unprofessional and made our experience substandard, felt like we were at a take away kebab caravan. Never had this negative experience during prior visits. Based on this visit, we would not revisit this restaurant. Food was okay however did not have its usual quality and flavor, there must have been a change in ownership and management.

We come here at least fortnightly! It is our go to Japanese restaurant. The staff are so friendly. Best Japanese we have had in Melbourne.

Nothing struck me as exceptional. Tempura batter was soggy. Disappointing.
Service was good wait time acceptable.

There for the first time today 4.9.22. Food was not bad, a little pricey but service was exceptional. It was a very busy night but food came out extreme fast, and our requests were attended to almost immediately, like asking for wasabi, add on order etc, even the owner (a lady) came around and ask if everything was ok.

We ordered main sashimi plate, tofu steak, gyoza and miso soup. The tofu steak was served on hot plate and kinda plain. Gyoza was the quite good. Miso soup was like the miso powder we buy in the supermarket. What disappointed us was the sashimi. We thought it was not fresh. But at that time, we didn’t think much and understood that we dined in at night so we made allowances. Until next morning, all of us got diarrhea and stomachaches. The staffs were quite attentive. However, one big issue was the waiting time. It was Saturday night, we got to wait for 50 minutes for the second course to be served. Wont come back again.

This place was way too noisey and that would have been ok if the service was up to scratch, however we had to ask 3 different staff just to get some water. The food itself was not hreat, not bad but not great.

Food is not authentic and tasteless. Prices are expensive. Customer service is Outstanding and Top Class though….

The new increased prices are outrageous. The already expensive prices have somehow managed to appreciate. Nothing has changed regarding quality and quantity if not have worsen despite price changes. The owners have really dropped off with poor communication to its loyal customers. The waiting staff are polite but it’s a shame that the food has really dropped off. The sushi servings are very small also.

I must say I am quite disappointed. The food quality wasn’t amazing and the portion sizes weren’t amazing. Most of the workers were very bland and not welcoming into the restaurant. Mukesh was absolutely lovely! We was very accommodating and friendly making sure everything was okay and we had everything we needed. Otherwise I must say we waited so long for our food and it wasn’t the same quality as it used to be definitely won’t be returning.

Went here for dinner at the start of the week, ordered a few things and for the price it was heaps and actually quiet fresh and flavourful food, most staff were good and attentive except one young gentleman who didn’t really seem like he had much experience but time will tell - will definitely be back mixed sashimi and the green chicken curry 10/10
