Tokyo Maki - Melbourne reviews
70 Nice homely wooden interior with calming instrumental music.
The lotus chips were displayed on a board and drizzle with sauce for decoration. The sauce was sweet.
Tonkatsu bento. The tonkatsu was overly cooked but had a light batter. The sweet potato had the most aromatic crisp batter. The chicken was quite dry but the sauce was perfect.
Curry katsu came with bite size potato and a generous amount of sauce. The katsu was drizzled over.
VERY fresh, genuine taste and fairly priced for large portion. Great central location. I wish for more seafood creatures in the Seafood Rame, but overall it was the best Ramen I had in Melbourne. I'll be back:)
Beautiful atmosphere & even better food! Prices are good, plenty to choose from, couldn’t recommend more. The owner & waiters are very lovely & accomodating. Music is perfect too! Our favourite Japanese restaurant.
They must have changed the manager there, I was expecting it’s gonna be 4 star as review but end up worst service and very rude guy. Never visit again
Hidden gem of a restaurant that is a little out of the way. Great food. Polite if indifferent service. My place to go for a quick easy and quiet lunch
Cozy place with great selections of Korean/Japanese food. Had one of the pork broth noodles, and it blew my mind.
One of the most fulfilling vegan meals I had in Melbourne.
The dish I had was really tasty and the miso soup complemented the meal so well.
I was a regular customer until I saw he used his bare hands after he smoked to touch the rolls and salmon. Later on he wore gloves and used the same gloves to receive money/cashier and touched the rolls. I feel so disappointed about it.
Best Japanese in town.
Excellent quality.
Very friendly service. Must try for anyone stays in Melbourne
