Great place for a quick lunch. The sushi is always very fresh and the value for money proposition is hard to beat.

Hands down, THE BEST sushi in Melbourne.
So fresh due to high traffic and turn over.
Cheap to meet the needs of students from RMIT.
Highly recommended!

By far the best sushi place I know. Always fresh, handrolls are good size and the price is ridiculously cheap. This place has been around for more than 10 years and definitely my go-to place for sushi.

Having insomnia and found myself giving them a 5 star review in the middle of the night. All because I was craving sushi from them! Best sushi roll in Melbourne and my personal favourite is their prawn with avocado roll. How I wish I could head here tmr to fix this craving, but sadly I'm no longer based in Melbourne!

It's a pretty great place to grab a bite. Helpful and nice staff, very good price and really fresh, tasty food. It's on my must visit again and again list. Highly recommended. Love it! Cheers~

Best sushi I have had in my life and I have tried many sushi places! I had a chrispy chicken roll and an avacado roll and they were both so fresh and tasty you can also watch them make the rolls fresh, I recommend to try this place if you are in the area and would go back there again.

Quality has gone downhill drastically recently. Very poor selection, and a much higher rice to seafood ratio.

Realized I've been coming here, every chance I am in the CBD, since I was at university back in 2008! Seriously good sushi.

Tokui is my the best sushi-bar there is in Melbourne. They recently just raised the price to $2.20 per roll - which is disappointing considering they used to so conveniently sell their sushi for $2. But with $2.20 it still is the one of the cheapest places I know in Melbourne to get quick feed of sushi. Their servings are still generous and ingredients are relatively fresh with what we pay for. Must try their tamago and prawn! The tamago is my favourite because the egg roll is fluffy and nicely sweetened. Their prawn is always fresh and juicy.

Staff are very friendly and sushi is surprisingly tasty and fresh! Great for a fast and cheap eat! 1 roll costs $2.20! I got really full after 4 rolls! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the Melbourne CBD area.
