We booked for a gathering of 25 people for a Christmas gathering and were delighted with the service and food from the kitchen, meals were surprisingly of large portions and the range and quality of the dishes were exceptional. Thank you for quality service.

Pretty disappointed by this place.the drinks didn’t taste nice at all, a lot worse than what i had expected, considering this is a bar.the food wasn’t anything special.i had the steak sandwich which was ok but the meat was hard and not very tasteful.wouldn’t ever go back.

Just had my 60th birthday party at the Titanic - at the upstair function room.
Staff were excellent & food was perfect. I couldn't complain about the service, Bill & Robyn manager's went above & beyond to make my night perfect. They were extremely helpful to accommodate my requirements.
I would definitely look at booking another function there in the future.

Great place to stop on a sunny day. Classic old pub with friendly staff, good standard pub fare and a casual alfresco atmosphere.

It’s not modern but who needs that on a cruisy day. It was fantastic to discover it. Definitely will return

As a local in Williamstown the Titanic Restaurant has always been a staple business and landmark in the area, so I was incredibly sad to hear that it got foreclosed. Some time later, new ownership came along and restored the iconic location into a bustling and lively bar/pub and when word got around that they had reopened, I had to come down. As I walked in my first impressions blew me away, the Iconic boiler room had been transformed into what can be described as a portal to the past, with history and recovered documents of the ship and incredible architecture almost perfect to what can be seen on board. You are immediately greeted with friendly staff and a strong feeling of community from the area. Luckily, the night I had come down there was live music played by a local williamstown band via an incredible music system, and I can for sure say that they knew how to control the atmosphere and energy of the room. After listening to the band for some time, my party had decided we would order dinner. We had ordered the Titanic Burger, Children's Carbonara and on of the Gnocci's. The staff were very efficient, friendly and the food came quite fast. Unfortunately when the Carbonara came out, It was missing quite a few items that it had described on the menu and for lack of nicer words; "tasted like dirty dish water. " Our party was sure that it was a mistake and we flagged down staff soon after. The staff were very immediately jumped into action, apologising and asking for feedback on what they can do to remedy the issue, in the end we had gotten comp'd the price of the food and served a children's burger and a free beer. The staff were very professional about it and definitely made up for the problem, so no issues here. On the other hand, the burger was quite honestly the best burger I had eaten all year. In my opinion it was better than the likes of the "elephant burger" from a nearby Cafe and even burgers from the nearby Burger Culture. In my conclusion, Titanic On Nelson completely lives up to the prestige that the former restraunt had left behind. The service is incredible, the food was amazing and the energy and vibe still exists. For locals of Williamstown, if you frequent the now closed "Stags Head Hotel", this is a perfect replacement as the bands are similar, the music list is almost identical and most of the community that originally frequented there have relocated to here.

Food: 4/5
Service: 5/5
Location and presentation: 5/5
Community, music and events: 5/5

Came to give it a shot. Deco and service is alright and the band was not bad but the food is just not on.
Positives:
- Garlic bread and garden salad was decent
- Sides were pretty good - onion rings, chips, grilled veg

Negatives:
- Carbonara was SO bad. I don't know how it is possible to get it so wrong. It smelled and tasted like dirty mop water.
- The quality of the pork ribs was not good and the way it was cooked was like it was boiled and with BBQ sauce on top. The sauce also had the same issue as the Carbonara as it really tasted and smelled off.
- The fish for the fish and chips was not fresh and you could taste it.

They did refund for the carbonara and said they were between chefs at the moment. So there's a poor line cook at the back having to make everything.

I'm not sure if time will help till they get a new chef but we won't be returning.

Meh! Our dining experience at this Titanic-themed restaurant left us chuckling at its quirks. Overpriced, neglectful service, and poor-quality pub grub seem to be the stars of the show here.

Picture this: on a quiet Monday night, we were the sole adventurers in this Titanic-themed dining expedition. Despite booking online, and being the only two customers in the restaurant we found ourselves tucked away against the wall – made us feel like real shipwreck survivors.

To set the mood, the music treated us to a time-traveling playlist featuring the Spice Girls, the Macarena, and other 1990s gems. It was almost as if the Titanic had a portal to our school dance era!

We requested water, not once but twice, wondering why this wasn't an automatic inclusion.

When we inquired about a specific wine from the menu (our initial choice not available), it was as though we'd vanished into the abyss of forgotten patrons. We had to play detective for our own order – a thrilling twist to our sinking adventure!

Adding to the merriment, our main course decided to crash our entree's party uninvited. We kindly asked for it to arrive fashionably late). Ah, the joys of unpredictability!

Just when we thought we'd seen it all, dessert came knocking halfway through our main course. Apparently, "the cook wants to go home. " It was tempting to respond with, "Me too! " – a Titanic-size icebreaker moment.

This dining escapade was decidedly average in every respect. If they find themselves short on resources, perhaps they should consider closing shop on certain nights? And if the cook is calling the shots, it might be time for a culinary revolution.

This former glory, now under new management (perhaps with good intentions but lacking in hospitality pizzazz) could use a Titanic-sized transformation.

Here's to hoping they steer their ship in a better direction and serve up a more delightful experience.

Anchors away, and may they set a course for better days!

First time customer, I was expecting it to be like workers dressed up etc and more of a titanic theme, but I'm assuming it depends on what day you go. It's more pub food but at least was delicious, very friendly staff and love how there's upstairs entertainment! Pool tables arcade TV. Nice place.

Salmon was served not fully cooked. Steak was par boiled then flipped on grill. Waitress had an appalling attitude to our concerns and no customer service skills. Never again

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Titanic Restaurant in Williamstown. I ordered a burger and it was one of the worst things I have ever tasted. I could barely stomach two bites of it before I had to put it down. To add insult to injury, my partner's schnitzel was cut in half, making it look much smaller than it should have been and hardly worth the exorbitant $94 we spent for our meal.

The food was a complete waste of money. I would strongly advise anyone considering visiting Titanic Restaurant to look elsewhere. The poor quality of the food and the high prices make for an unpleasant dining experience. Save your money and go somewhere else where you can actually enjoy your meal.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR DINNER & SHOW or Book a Table as the Venue is CLOSED for good but the Owner still taking money from unwary customers from its website! 2 days ago the Police raided the venue as there was a Weed Farm at the Venue!

Well, they took my money for a booking on the 12th of February when it turns out they were going to be closed anyway (cannabis hoo-ha withstanding) and now won't respond to any of my communication, I have yet to receive my money back.

This place owes me $595 for a Saturday show booking they never did. Won't answer the phone, doesn't respond to messages, they have a robot who responds to emails one second after sending one with the same answer, believe what you read on ABC news, they have stolen from employees and they have stolen from me, criminal's.

Booked dinner and a show for the 19th for Valentine’s Day for me and my partner (was booked before the whole cannibis hoo-rah) and is not replying to any of my calls or emails and I have noticed the other day that he has deleted the Facebook page, contacted the bank and the bank is trying to help me with a dispute to get my money back but they said it might not come back as it was not an unauthorised transaction such a disappointment

Booked for my birthday end of May 2021 and had paid a large amount upfront. Due to the covid lock down it was agreed with the restaurant that they would provide me with a full refund once they are back into trading. Called as soon as restrictions had lifted and was told that they are under new management and was advised to send them and email with my previous booking details in order to receive a refund. Was told that some one was going to get back to me within 7 days. I did this and never received a response. I tried calling back and sending multiple emails and voice mail messages but no one is answering the phone or responding to my emails. This is very poor service! Will not support this business and would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
