Was here for a school dinner, and I was actually impressed. The previous hotels we tried for school dinner were very average venues with average food. This was a much better venue, with a new, large kids play area. And pretty good food, although I didn't get much. Also have a Brazilian BBQ available on some nights.

Massive servings, service was great, and the kids were happy in the play ground, will go back again, Thanks

Mel did a great job of finding a table for our large group when it was very crowded and we didn't have a booking. Great venue for kids

The food portions were decently sized and the price fairly reflected it. Food arrived relatively quick and was well presented.

The restaurant was clean, well kept and its decor was modern and pleasant to look at.

The clientele were predominantly made up of middle-class people between the ages of 50-80 years old. Very family friendly venue!

The staff were extremely polite and very happy to help. They seemed familiar with their work space and each other and keen to work under their own guidance & initiative. Very professional and a joy to do business with!

Thank you Wheelers Hill Hotel & Staff

It's very family friendly so great for a family outing, a celebration event or just catch up with friends and their kiddies. The high ceilings make the already open space feel even bigger so you really get a sense of space, especially when your belly fills up. We went on a public holiday where there's a 10% surcharge so paying $26.40 for a parma felt a little pricey, but at least the parma was a thick, juicy piece of chicken with ham on top so you quickly forget for the price. The playground is great and keeps the little ones busy while you enjoy your beverage and/or dessert

Should have known not to come on a weekend, booked for 5 adults and they put us beside the playground. So noisy we couldn't have a conversation!

Love the new playground, if anything could be improved it would the the surf n turf topping on your steak.far too much lemon! And different sauces on your slaw because it made it gluggy and inedible.

Food is pretty good, service is on par.however you need to pick the right day and time to go, if you dont like LOUD noise, coming from ALOT of kids who arw enjoying the awesome playroom they have there.obviously 6pm on a Sunday night, is going to be one of those, however for lunch I've gone 3 times and it was nice and quiet. Overall great place for families

They have added a new kids area and it is now a very noisy place to eat, if you are a older group it is not a relaxing environment, please be warned The food we had at a table of 6 was very small servings and over done or microwave? I had the souvalaki burger and didn't finish it. The serving staff were good but a pint of beer is $10. We won't be back again

Food was good but people had a big wait for coffee & one couple missed out because inefficient 2 staff girls spent too much time talking & laughing together!

Just adequate. Views from the bistro are terrific, but the place is showing its age and is in dire need of a makeover. Food selections are satisfactory but not exciting and service is generally OK. However, queueing 10 minutes just to order a coffee is not good, especially when it's not that busy.

I have found the meals are ok, the service I feel is a little slack, I was waiting in line at the bar for awhile, one person serving who had their hands full, other staff just walking around and slow to help.

Since the introduction of the children's play area, it is much more family orientated, which is fine except that children are allowed to run and scream seemingly without any control from parents or staff. I have been a regular for years now, but unless things change, I will have to find a more suitable venue.

Great venue, great playground for kids.
Poor food, have been there many times for dinner as my kids enjoy the playground, unfortunately won't go back anymore as we can't find any meal worth going back for.

Extremely poor service. Was there today for lunch to join my friends there. The 4 of them irdered their food before me. I came in half hour later i order fish n i was served by 25mins. My friends waited for one hour n 30 mins n still wasnt served. The staff was rude when u query about it n she was the manager which makes it even worst. She was loud n rude. No apologies we ask for our money back to card n left. Happened around 130pm lunch. Will never go there ever again. Bad customer service n no experience.

As with some successful businesses, must it start going downhill once it becomes popular? As at 16 March 2019 this business has recently proven to be completely untrustworthy. Holding a children's meal voucher (like a coffee card) we've redeemed meals on occassion however today, we've been told it's no longer valid unless we meet new requirements. Wow. After visiting and spending so much $$ here, well done management, we're going elsewhere. #FailedBusinessOperations.

Previous review (5 stars) : Must try the Graziers steak! Brand New children's area! Well managed operation.

Porterhouse steak was really thin. My medium rare was well done. Decor was 90s. Nothing to write home about. Also tried my partner's medallion steak. It was very very chewy.
