Was told best pies in Melbourne, So naturally was eager to get a bite in me. Asked for chunky beef but had none. Asked bacon and cheese but had none. Missing half the pies on the list. Paid an arm and leg for what was an average pie.

Great coffee and real lactose free milk option available! The food is also divine, love the pies, veggie pasties, Turkish bread sandwiches, donuts and croissants. Yet to taste anything that wasn’t delish!

Strongly recommend it because of the excellent customer service, products and the reasonable prices.

When I moved into the area my neighbour commented that my first trip to Village Bakery wouldn’t be my last and they were right! Do yourself a favour, drop in for a tasty breakfast muffin or yummy lunch. Delicious pies, pasties, pizzas, bagels, focaccias. Fantastic fresh bread options and always a tasty sweet treat whether you’re picking something up for an afternoon tea for yourself or a group, you won’t be disappointed. Friendly & efficient staff. Don’t hesitate to go!

Really good pies, especially chicken and leek. Sweet or savoury there's something for everyone (as long as the they haven't sold out). Bit pricey but in this case you do get what you pay for.

Danish dark rye bread is interestingly tasty. Tabitha added the personal touch with her friendly manner.

Lovely bakery with various selection of pie, coffee, cakes, sweet and savoury croissants/bagel/bread etc. I tried their mochacinno and pie with red cherry on top (actually forgot the name of it, sorry), the taste matched with my taste buds but the egg taste in the pie was too strong for me. Other than that, everything’s okay.

Also, the location is very strategic, across coles supermarket and near the bus stop which make it so easy to be reached

Absolutely love this place always fresh and delish my cronuts on point, my coffee always taste amazing! And my danish so yummy! I'm a fan! And I'll be back for sure. Yummy yum yum!

Love going to the bakery but at 11.50 not to have party pies and pie warmer with hardly any pies you’d think it would be full anyway went in next door and got some Ivan pies which are very nice too.

Staff are super friendly and professional. Management could definitely reconfigure the space to make ordering and receiving orders a bit more efficient. Baked goods are amazing. Sandwiches are fantastic. Lots of room to sit down. And they have those cool edible/compostable coffee cups!

Wonderful atmosphere to relax and unwind with some warm coffee and scrumptious baked goods to choose from.

Yes the wait can be little crazy. I always avoid it, first time to see the line quite empty so I jumped in.the selection of food and quality is pretty amazing.coffee was average as afew people have said.def.worth a visit if you near by.near the shopping centre square and has plenty of parking nearby and a tram stop.

The focaccia is great but also the croissant but let's not forget the bread. Well.for an Italian dude this is heaven

Lovely local bakery that has a wonderful range of the typical things you'd expect a bakery to stock. Their pies are delicious, the sausage rolls have the most wonderfully flaky pastry, and the sweets are so so good. They also don't charge to tomato sauce, which basically highlgihts them as a pillar of the community in my eyes.

No complaint about the food, I would’ve given 5 stars but the only thing. They look like under staff because the queue is too long. When I was having my coffee there and I wanted to buy more, I need to queue up again.

Had a lovely cinnamon scroll served by the employee named pip she was kind and served me very professionally highly recommend to all.

I see how your place brings in the customers. The fresh bakery food looks amazing. However, I am disappointed in the quality of the coffees we were served. Maybe there should be a focus on making a more holistic service.

I love coming her morning and afternoon! Staff is always lovely, I had a great experience with tall, short haired brunette staff member, always lovely and greets me with a smile! Love the cinnamon donut and a coffee or a more special cake slice!

Soooooo good! Amazing custard donut, the texture and density is the best I have had in Melbourne! Very spongy and fresh! Jam donut is too sweet for me but custard donut is perfect with a coffee! The Lotus cronut was so good, very puffy crispy pastry and the layers were well separated! It’s a bit too sweet as well, I like the Oreo cronut better because of the dark chocolate coating and the cookies and cream filling. There were so many items to choose from. There is always a line on the weekend so make sure you go early and prepare to spend sometime waiting! There were 3 staff working on the weekend and they were all very efficient! The coffee was very good too, love that it’s extra hot, perfect for cold rainy morning!

The Nutella cronut with berry custard filling is the most exquisite and decadent treat I’ve ever consumed. Truly phenomenal.
