I miss the old springy pub it was our go to pub as a young guy thurs sometimes friday saturday & usually early openers on sunday b4 the vfa, had my bucks there too

We had a wonderful time at The Lounge for a combined birthday and Anniversay. The cocktail food was plentiful and scrumptious. Violet the event coordinator was very helpful from our fist meeting, nothing was a problem, on the night Violet worked non stop to make sure the the event smoothly. I would highly recommend The Vale for your event

Pretty standard pub fare, bar minimum tap beer variety, very hot and no air con the night I was there.

Great place for a pub meals. Atmosphere is amazing and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend. Good job guys!

Descent service, not to crowded and noisy and I don’t recommend gambling there it’s x15 harder to win there then anywhere else

All good and up to your usual high standards of food and service.
The kids room was well utalised.

Recently celebrated granddaughters second birthday, day, Maggie and violet both warmly welcomed us and ensured tha we were all looked after. Birthday girl had a ball

We recently moved to Springvale from Bayside and found this little gem near our house. You wouldn't go for the decor though very clean and neat, but it's a typical pokies/bistro set up. The food though is really really good. Fresh and beautifully cooked and not expensive. We go here regularly now and always enjoy

Just had my son’s 18th birthday celebration at The Vale “Sports Bar Function Room”, and so glad we did. First off, ask for Violet and she’ll take care of the rest. She was very accommodating to our requests. From having TV’s on for our guests to watch the footy, utilising the big TV for our slide show, arranging tables and couches, as well as food platters coming out at certain times, to ensuring our guests were comfortable and catered for all night long. We ordered different platters and they were all tasty and our guests were impressed. We had placed a tab on the bar and Thomas was amazing in monitoring it and letting us know when it got close. We were quiet impressed with Thomas’s professionalism, and would highly recommend him for any future functions at the Vale. I’d like to also mention another friendly face behind the bar “Sam” who also worked as part of a great team.

Two hours before the party started, I dropped off some sweet trays, balloons and cake. Violet was instrumental in storing it away and then setting it up on the table, organising and arranging the whole decor. She is incredible to the last detail.

I highly recommend this place for any occasion; please do yourselves a favour, go check it out and ask to speak to violet and make sure Thomas is there to man the bar. They are a great team.

So impressed you have Seafood Basket for Seniors on your Chef's Special Menu. Ate here Friday night. Great service. Meal arrived with perfect chips and seafood with lovely salad. Yumm! I hope this finds it way onto your regular Seniors Menu. We will be back.

Great meals and service at the Vale. Waiting time short and food comes hot, even when staff are run off their feet.

Still impressed with the meals. I had the chicken parma which has not changed in 15 odd years. It was delicious back then and still eye catchingly delicious. The whole meal was freshly cooked/made. My Mum n friend (both seniors) not only enjoyed their seafood basket but finished the lot with dessert following. They were quite impressed with the view also.

Prompt service, without being pushy. Food options were not over the top, kept to a select variety. All meals ordered were good, my steak cook as requested, fish and chips good not oily. Seniors meals were good portions. Value for money.

Dropped in for a light lunch with a friend. Food was good, their lunch specials were enticing and even included a number of Seniors specials.

Portions were large and staff friendly

We have been eating at the Vale Hotel on and off for many years and the food has always been good. But since they reopened after the covid lockdown the Vale has improved. My wife and I were there on a week ago and had the swordfish. It was fantastic, great size and very fresh! Keep it up. Thanks for a great experience:)

Very nice pub, decent prices drinks and friendly staff.

Restaurant has nice food and appealing area to eat.

Would definately recommend, however, don't spend too long in the pokies ;)

I have visited this hotel on many occassions and found the ambience of it to be bright and welcoming and the staff to be friendly and pleasant. The food has always been excellent and just before lockdown they had a beautiful dish of Sticky and Spicy Pork Belly which was very tasty. They do have weekly specials but they also have the regular favourites. Overall a very nice hotel with good food and excellent staff.

Went for lunch. Had a burger with a beer for $15. The burger wasn't amazing but ok for the price. Typical pub beer selection from CUB with furphy and the like. Nothing special but also not bad. Run off the mill pub

Great experience - not 5 star but they have a good kids area and that means 10-15 min alone with your hubby.menu choices could be increased?
