To the owner:
Went to have some pokies fun last night, terrible experience, you need some serious training on your staff for dealing problems with your machines, the bull game machine stucked twice I went there, this time the same problem nothing is happen when you touch the pad, so I called one of your staff to fix it, which he seems clueless of what’s happen just restarted machines and told me it back in 10mins, while the screen shows no signal, I was doubting his action but I still waited, half hour later I called him again, now he seem to know that he can’t fix so he called a women over I assume it’s the manager in charge, they worked for about 5 mins told me I have to come back tmr or sometime to get my money back cuz they need to wait for tech to fix it, so there goes my 30 mins for nothing, no apologies nothing, which is quite a surprise in a hospitality industry, but anyway went to the counter get my other ticket cash out left my info, and I ask to not called me but text me instead since I don’t take random calls, scam etc, she insists that they have to call on their telephone, this is the part where I get quite upset with the service, your fault but as a customer I have to take the responsibility to use my time to cover up, anyway it will be my last time to visit, good luck to you, and I hope I get my money back, fingers cross.

I had the surf to turf. Not impressed. The steak was over done on the outside so it was too dry for my liking. The meat was meant to be medium rare but because it was over cooked on the outside overall it was not tender or juicy. Felt dry. I didn't finish it. Panko Prawns was more like mashed up prawns than whole prawns. Salad didn't have sufficient dressing and was not tasty. Chips were so so. Over priced at $36. Should have had the roast pork for $25 as a main. That looked a lot better.

Roast of the day and pork belly were very boring and bland. What was advertised as plum sauce, was just a drop of it here and there.

I wasn’t expecting it but this ended up being one of the better tasting chicken Parmas I’ve had! Overall spacious venue, good for meeting up with or a group of friends or hosting a medium sized events. Service could be a little better but not so bad.

I'm always on the lookout for a great pub meal & this certainly met my expectations. It's great that there was a no fuss approach with the convenience of ordering drinks & meal via my smart phone at the table & service was efficient & quick. The gravy that accompanied the pie was a bonus. It's my first time & looking forward to visiting again to try something else.

Nice venue and friendly staff. Large servings, great food for the whole family. Recommend not to get seated next to the windows on a hot day, in the late afternoon.

Food was ok, had to wait a long time. Ordered two meals with Scotch Fillet Steak, don't know why they bother asking how do you want it cooked. We asked for Med and Med Rare, both came out extremely well done.

This place has become a routine place for our family lunch together. Not only the food is always served perfectly and generous size, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Easy parking and central location is a big bonus. Keep up the good work guys!

My wife and I had lunch at The Vale, Springvale on Friday 20/1/23. We found the wait staff very courteous and helpfull and the meals were nothing short of excellent. My wife had Fish and Chips, cooked to perfection and very well presented and I had the Steak Sandwich which was much more than excellent, cooked to perfection and huge. We will be going back again and thoroughly recommend the Vale Hotel Bistro at Springvale, Victoria to Family and Friends.

Little small tables for the group we had they split us over three tables. Which wasn't ideal.
Overall great priced menu

Lovely, clean, relaxing atmosphere with amazing food! Our dessert was overlooked but staff served an additional dessert at no further cost for that small hiccup.

Went there for a drink and a few games of pool.big sign out the front clearly stated that they sold $7 pints ALL DAY EVERYDAY, yet when I asked for a pint I was charged $10 despite letting the bar staff know about the sign, which is ILLEGAL. I will be putting in a complaint about this.

Have become very happy regulars of the bistro. Always decent food, lovely staff, great play area to keep the kids entertained (plus great-value kids combo meals) and all-round good service. Never unhappy and posting because always worth a shout out for a place with such great consistency. Hot tip: get on the pork ribs

I usually like to eat at The Vale. When I there last time, I felt like I was forced to use the menu app on the table. It is not compatible with my phone so I said I will go up and order. They didn't like this - Made it known. Other customers were facing the same. No other customers at the time I was there used the menu app. Waiters don't like having to give out a menu.
Also I was asked if I was ordering a main meal or a senior meal. I am in my 40s! Not sure whether the girl was new but I found it very rude.
I'm not sure I would eat here again which is a shame because their food is amazing but the app and the vibe I got off staff was off-putting.

Had my 40th in the Lounge function Room.
From the beginning of planning it, Manger Violet was Amazing. Everything was perfect. I was able to go earlier to set up. The food didn’t stop. Superb Service.
Absolutely perfect night

Having a table of 9 on a Friday night with 3 younger kids I was concerned there may be a wait. Arrived at 6pm, the place was dead, only 2 other tables in the bistro. Ordered and they sent half the table out and forgot the other half, which included 2 of the 3 kids. No apologies, no manager, no one to apologize they had forgotten. Had a cake we had dropped off when we arrived as celebrating 2 birthdays. We supplied the candles and also the lighter as know these can be hard to fine at times. Cake came out with the lighter on the side, the awesome service said ‘well if we lit it before it would just blow out’. With all my years in hospitality I have never had such poor service and no care. I know COVID has been tough but I’ll never be back to the Vale.
