Absolutely amazing pasta! I had the Seaford Linguini, was so full of flavour! Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Would definitely come again!
We called in for dinner on a Sunday night. The food was very tasty. The meals are not cheap but worth the price for the quality. Serving sizes were good too. Staff were friendly and happy to serve you. We had the gnocchi and a parma and both were very tasty. The gnocchi was made in house and the vegetable sauce complimented the gnocchi well.
Had lunch at Union hotel, abit disappointed how the food came out, hubby ordered the veal dish came out 4 strips carrot, mash potatoe veal was a very small piece, didnt like his mash and carrot. I ordered the calamari dish.only 8 pieces some chips and salad.
A good place for a beer and to watch Chapel st do its thing. Happy hour beer is a good deal at $9 for a furphy pint. The staff were nice and professional and the place was clean including the toilet.
Loved it, great pub fare with a real class. Enjoyed the Wednesday night special, a 300g porter house steak with chips and salad all for just $22, beautiful!
Probably the best hot chips that I have ever had at a pub! All food is great, beer is cold and live music on a Sunday afternoon. What more could you want.
Meals were a bit disappointing, the servings were rather small, badly presented and felt overpriced as a result. My friends $40 something dollar steak was overcooked and the plate was sparse for sides to say the least. The venue itself had a nice atmosphere for a Sunday.
The roast at The Union Hotel is delicious!
Great staff and service, I’ll be back again!
The staff were very friendly and prompt. The Scotch Fillet with pepper gravy was cooked perfectly (medium rare).
Very cosy restaurant/bar. Great food options for lunch. $30 meal and drink. Good size servings and service.
Sandwich was good. Fries appear to be packaged type but taste ok. Decor was a bit boring. Wine included with lunch was tiny sized. Service was good.
I have never received such a large serving of sticky date in my life. Did I eat it all? Yes. Did I regret it? Kinda. Would I do it again? Of course. Ice cream to sticky date ratio lil miss but it all worked out in the end. Didn’t get a meal, but the ones passing by looked good. Friendly staff but damn was the sticky date good, like so good. It’s good.
Somebody had projectile vomited in the male bathroom sink, told the staff and nobody seemed to care. Pretty feral
Great place, great music, nice staff, just paid $12 for a Heineken though. Welcome to Melbourne!
Friendly staff and a decent happy hour. Good food and as an added bonus, they have a really nice pool table.
If you want a pub that does everything well this is the place, the food was fantastic and the service was timely. Staff were friendly and warm a great Sunday afternoon vibe with good music. Tables clean not sticky I hate sticky tables. Get around them
Great menu, street side outdoor seating on two sides of the street with indoor too. I've walked past a few time and glad to have stopped in. Good pub feels and friendly service:)
I usually don't post a 1 star but I will today. I had the Tuesday night parmi special which was awful. The parmi was plain and basic, the chips didn't even seem to have Salt on them and tasted cheap, the salad was dry and awful. There was lipstick in the water glass I used also. I have been here previously and the food has been alright so I'm not sure why this occasion sucked. Also not sure of cider pint prices anymore, could be wrong but just wondered if 13.50 for a pint of Apple cider is normal now?
