Tuesday steak night did not dissapoint! Whomever was in the kitchen tonight Tues 16 Jan 2024 our whole tables steak was fantastic! Perfect medium rare! (Table 20 booking time 630pm)
Serving staff were friendly too no fault tonight to all during our service time 630pm onwards. Special shout out to I think Brendan? (Apologies if I'm incorrect) but your service was great!

Brandon our waiter for the night was the most outgoing bloke great service, good story’s, let us know about all the deals going on and helped us out with the best choice for the new margarita tower promo that was happening and on top of all of that looked after all of us very we’ll definitely going back and asking for him to serve us again.

Went for a double date with my boyfriend and some friends. Brandon was amazing, great service and was able to have a good laugh with us all. Would recommend Brandon as your server!

Went there for a nice family dinner tonight. The bar was packed. Service was extremely slow which staff were very apologetic for.
The food was tasteless. I mean all of it. From the starters to the mains. I don't think any one on the table finished on single thing. Maybe you guys should just stick to being a bar because $156 dollars worth of food being left on the table to be cleared is just terrible. Your staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just wish the food was edible. Definitely won't be returning.

Food is good not great, but the waiter we had twice now Luke is an absolute jet, friendly, funny and well attentive to our needs.

Brandon was unbelievably lovely and provided my family and friends such great service! You’re truly lucky to have a staff member like this here it made our dining experience so much more special and the food was amazing! Thanks Brandon and Team at fountain gate.

Was shocked at the prices and quality.

Paid $32.80 for a mvp Parma and cauliflower bites (and a public holiday surcharge on top of that!).

Salad was just leaves with about 4 tiny shreds of carrot and 2 purple onion slices. Parma was small and dry and flavourless, cauliflower bites were average.

My partners Parma was even smaller and dryer with a tiny portion of chips.

Portion size and quality is not up to standard for what you are charging.

The staff are so rude and always seem really annoyed that they have to serve you. Tables are never clean.
For somewhere that charged such a high price you would expect better service. Even just a smile.

Disappointed. Chips were cold. Eggs were hard as cardboard. Asked for soft eggs. Steak was dry. Disappointing.

Had my birthday here on the weekend and the staff were incredible! The atmosphere is always great when we come here and the bar staff are super friendly and know their stuff!
I think we’ve definitely found our new go to!

Nice Burgers with good array of drinks available. Extra points for tv in booth to watch your sport of choice.

Missed half of the first quarter of the Superbowl trying to order beers through their useless app.

Table of 8 people waiting for their overloaded servers to work before we can order food or drinks.

Also the bonus of the worst steak I've ever eaten.

If the staff walked up to me and urinated on my face I wouldn't be surprised at this point.

I should have gone upstairs to the cinema for a better feed.

Edit: 2 years later and even worse service. 1 person working the bar on Superbowl day and they've run out of glasses.

Never again.

The 6th Visit, great All Star Platter on Friday night,
The portion is quite filling and worths its value and BBQ chicken wings are the best.

My partner and i shared a valentines dinner here tonight and were served by brandon who is possibly the best server i have ever had the pleasure to be served by.as someone who is a picky eater and very anxious i normally dislike talking to servers but brandon was so amazing from the jump he gave us suggestions and explained his reasons behind them, he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and treated us like we were his life long friends.he told us his favourite item on the menu and if he wasnt on the clock i definitely would of bought it for him and let him eat dinner with us.definitely going to come back based on this one experience alone, whatever position he is in the company he deserves a promotion

Staff were non attentive to customers, more concerned and attentive to their social groups, either fellow staff or friends in the venue. The female staff member with the red hair, could do with a lesson in customer service.

The last three times we have been has been a shocking experience. This last time the young staff spend their efforts on their friends rather than serving. Empty restaurant besides one other table and it was so hard to get the attention of wait staff, we had to stand and wave as they were so busy talking to friends who were visiting (which happened the entire time). They forgot half our order, our kids drinks, the meals that did come were so burnt and dry. They had gangster rap with heavy language on the speakers at 5pm, didn’t matter that there were 5 kids in the restaurant. No cutlery provided (couldn’t get the attention of the staff so took them off empty tables). The plates of food were thrown down hard on the table that half the food fell off them. I was seriously waiting for a camera crew to appear to let us know we were being pranked it was so horrifically bad!
Update: you wouldn’t believe it, whilst having dessert we found hair in the food. Cherry on top of a pretty shocking experience!

Had a Parma here it tasted like a half melted gumboot. Chicken was so pink it could still lay an egg

Would of given a five star rating but it took me to stack all glasses and the end of the table after 5 rounds of drinks before the staff would clean the table?

From my experience:

Waiter knocked over drink, did not offer to replace it
Other waiters spilled small amounts on my friends shoulder repeatedly while delivering drinks.
I got a big Parma, my friends was half the size
Parma was average at best. Definitely had better
Not great for dining
Pros
Booths have own tv and you can select channel and alter sound
The “warm ups” are good
The cocktails are good (don’t try the pineberry mocktail - it’s gross)
Great for getting drunk, watching sports and enjoying nibbles
