This is a perfect example of Melbourne entrepreneurship done well. Kudos to starting something Melbourne has needed for the longest time.

Pretty disappointed after receiving my shoe. I would assume that it is not cleaned to the detail despite a premium service ($50). I have attached two images showcasing the shoe base in which is still filled with dirt (the green circled box; P.s. The brown leather was none of their concern) and some spotting dirts on the upper side.

I wanted to rate two stars for the service; However, I gave an additional star as the store representative offered to clean the dirts and spots right away after the complaints. Thus, I would suggest 'The Sneaker Laundry' to please look into this matter.

I have chosen this service on the basis that my shoes would be cleaned by the hands of experts. So, please do not let your customers trust down.

Shoe cleaning service is good, but the mail order side for buying cleaning products is slow and clunky, orders take far to long to be dispatched once payment is received and the courier company they use are not the greatest either, at first I thought it to be a one off, but happens every time now, I try to just visit the store to buy my products but a lot of the pricing is online only, starting to put me off.

I give 5 star rating to The Sneaker Laundry because they remove all the stains from white t shirt completely. The stain were very stinky and very hard to remove but after that they make my t shirt stain free. Thankyou!

GOOD IDEA BUT POOR RESULTS

Good on these people to create a new a business but unfortunately, what they promise does not match expectation. Similar to Michael L's review I had the same experience when I went to pick up my shoes they were not ready and still wet so had to come back another day. This is not okay when the customer deliberately travels to your store and the shoes aren't ready when you say they will be.

Then the actual cleaning themselves is really poor. One pair of shoes looked the same as pre-clean and the other pairs weren't properly cleaned with still visible grass/dirt on the soles despite paying for a full clean. All you need to do is have a look at the shoe and you'll realise it wasn't cleaned properly so the quality is poor.

The business uses the analogy of a dry cleaner cleaning clothes but the difference is that it is a lot more expensive to clean the shoes here and at least when I get my clothes back they actually are clean. Can't say the same for my shoes.

The service really don’t match the price. Paying 35 bucks but didn’t get cleaned well. The worst thing was that when picking up my shoes, one pair was still wet, and it was already 2 days after the appointed date. Really disappointed experience.

Always send our battered nightclub shoes in here and the friendly guys always clean them with a smile and have it ready for us looking awesome! Wouldn't trust anyone else to get the job done!

Amazing service and great turn around time. Will keep your sneakers looking perfect. Definitely the place to keep your favourite sneakers in the best condition.

Working in the service myself, I tend to look out for any service that is outstanding and The Sneaker Laundry certainly is. The team did not just offer me a product and simple service but went above and beyond any expectations I had before using their service. The them at The Sneaker Laundry have definitely nailed it in every single way!

I've been there multiple times now and these guys never cease to amaze me! Always ready to go above and beyond and never felt safer leaving my shoes in their hands.

I went there to clean my NMD and adidas superstar and paid for the standard one. They said the wont clean the sole and the inbetween the shoelace but I was okay with it. My superstar turn out well but I realise that my NMDs shoelace is not attach to the shoe so I got back home to put the shoelace back. When I put it back, I realise that the lace is not the real one. I called then they said that they didn’t know anything about it but they do ask me to go back there and they give me another shoelace. But it’s too long for my NMD.

I’m quite disappointed with the service.

My leather sneakers looked the same before and after getting them clean. The soles were still dirty and there was some dirt still on the upper leather. Huh?
